Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 015 & 016.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son is  SHIP 13 DIV 016, no letter from him yet. ( just the form letter 2 weeks ago).  Hoping to hear this week!!

smmurf46 my son is in Div 16 and I have not received any letter as of today.  I am praying that I get one tomorrow, and I hope that you do too.  @MMMship13div016 Thank you so much for the picture.  I zoomed it as much as I could but could not see my SR. It is a great picture, one for the scrapbook.

There are many more on the navy recruit site on facebook.

@Singin'Sailor'sMom - I too can not wait to see my SR.  Are you going to  Sarge's meet and greet?  When do you plan on arriving to the Great Lakes area.. Where in Texas do you live?

Yes I am going to Sarges Meet and Greet.  I live n Glen Rose, just south of Ft Worth area.  Got my first letter yesterday and was so excited.  My SR was chosen to be a Yeoman whatever that is...lol. So new to all of this! Where do you live?

SailorMom59 - I am hoping for my 1st letter today.  Today is the end of week three and the begining of week 4.... I had to calls from somewhere today..when I answered there was no response.  My heart just sunk.. Both times the area code was different.

Singin'Sailor'sMom I am coming from Orange County California.  I can not wait for Nov 21 to get here.  I hope to see a letter in my mailbox today... I just miss him so much..

smmurf46, my son is on on ship13 div 15.  I got a quick note from his last Friday.  I too am hoping to get a note from him today or tomorrow!  Hope you do too :)

me too debnchris, waiting for the mail lady now!  and the same thing happened to me with the phone calls.... ugh... I want so bad to hear something....from him.   Let me know if you get anything! :-)

First of- I don't know what I was thinking- my son is div- 16.

BUT- I got some letters today!! Several letters! He wrote one and included letters for each of his 4 siblings. Also got separate one written SEPT 30 and then one that was more current.

He did mention that one day they were going to get to make phone calls but his division screwed up so they lost the privilege. Anyway- just wanted to let yall know- when you go home today- maybe you will find a letter!

It felt like Christmas when I opened the box and saw his handwriting.

I was worried that he would be having a hard time- but his letter was very positive. Sure, he is getting yelled out constantly ( his words) but is sounds like he is taking it in stride. Whew!!!! I can breathe again!

@SailorMom59 Well the mailman came and I did not receive a letter today :(  I thought for sure that i would get one today.. Oh well maybe tomorrow.. Anyone else from Ship 13 Div 16 get any letters today?  Keep smiling we are another day closer to giving our SR's a big HUG

@beckybec are you coming in alone?  I am coming by myself.  Staying near the Meet and Greet. I am flying in on Tuesday around noon, and going home Friday night.  How about you?
