For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ship 04 (USS Arleigh Burke) Divisions 801 & 802 (Brother Divisions)
Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 801 & 802!!!
It only happens a few times a year when there are two special ops groups in one TG.
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Thank you too for starting this group. The good news is I have had no news from sailor :) Hoping he is good at letter writing and will get one soon. Looking forward to graduation. We have our air tickets and hotel reservations. Trying to keep busy so I dont have too much time to miss my son. Navy for moms sure has helped.

Soon they will have to eat in the shower and get up half an hour before they go to bed!
I can just imagine the first letter I'm going to get from him..... "Dad, this is a lot tougher than I ever anticipated... they expect me to make my bed and fold my clothes!"

Hello. My SR is in division 802. I am anxious to hear from him. I miss our Sunday night dinners. I am very excited about PIR.
I went to the Facebook page for GL. Seeing all the pictures made me feel a lot better.

sjtina.....LOL, yes I have seen the skimpy bathing suits! Someone recently told me they wore the green camo's instead of he blue so that they stand out more to make sure they are doing what they are suppose to and are corrected if they are not. Being from a large military area, you have alot people telling you so many different things so its hard to tell what is correct. Would love to know what to expect for the holiday routine once they get to Pre Buds/s. I know the base will be on holiday schedule but what does that mean for our guys? Will they have the option to come home for Christmas? If so, how long do you think they will have?

proudmomma, my son's stuff is all home. No green. They have peanut butters, that they look very handsome in. You will get to see them wear those during PIR weekend.
Yes, they do have the option to come home for about 10 days. They could have early muster on the 21st and leave could start then, but wait til your son gives you exact dates.
