While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

So jealous of all you receiving letters from your SR's. Still haven't received a personal letter from my son. :( My husband keeps reminding me, it is Cyle your son that puts everything off. That is true, but I would have thought he would at least drop a line or 2 saying that he is for sure SHIP-04. I told my husband I may race out to the mailbox every day, but I haven't started stocking the mailman as of yet. LOL

Not us. I kept my phone with me on vibrate all through Church yesterday just in case he called, but no call came. I am so looking forward to his call. He didn't say much in his letter, so I have lots to ask about and learn when he calls.

Theres no facebook page yet. I wish there was. My fiance has already written me one letter, just hoping i dont miss that phone call! He said in his letter about training with the seals, and even said that the food was really good! He is such a picky eater so thats surprising! Almost halfway through RTC :) I cant wait to see him again.

UHG! Still no letter from my son. Guess if his hand was broke I would have heard. LOL MY husband who is army keeps saying "don't worry, that's Cyle. If something was wrong you would be the first to be notified. No news is good news." I just want some news from Cyle.
