Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 021 & 022

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

He'll get them soon and know that you have been writing the whole time! (:

I've been spending letters since the 10th. I got his first letter last thursday the 18th. Which told me to change the ship. And since then I have been. :(

Well it depends on how slow the mail is if you got a letter out on the 19th with the right address.. hopefully he gets it before Sunday this weekend but if not I would be almost positive that he will get it in time for him to tell you he got it the next Sunday.

This whole wrong ship thing sucks.

I know, I have to move out of our apartment, I hope i am able to give him the address for my moms house before he sends any other letters. I will stalk my old address if i have to

Go to your postoffice & fill out a change of address card. They will forward you mail that has your old address to your new address. It will take about a week more to get to you but at least you will get his letters.

Got my second letter today! He was so depressed to have no recieved my letters so far! I really do hope that changes!!!! I cant wait to get a letter from him once they have gotten to him! He had to have his wisdom teeth pulled out last week, So they had him on some heavy medicine. And he also caught the stomache flu!! Poor baby had one night of nothing but hugging the toilet. He's also depressed cause he failed his PT due to the stomache flu. Thankfully he passed the swimming test with flying colors, and feels a whole lot better so he doesnt worry about the next PT Test. He said he hates that the instructors keep telling them all about how their wives and significant others cheated on them while they were gone to BC or on deployment. One whole page was him telling me how much he loved me and how he's worried this will be too hard on my and break me. I cant wait till he gets my letters :) He'll know then how much i love him and how all i think about is him. God i cant wait for his next letter.

I was wondering the same thing, like I bet at least half the stories of being cheated on are made up just to try and make it as hard as possible.

Thats my biggest worry. I've received two letters from him and he hadn't gotten the 20+ I've sent him. He sounds so depressed. :(

i got my second letter today too from my son and he said he has not gotten any of my mail sent to him either. hopefully they will soon. my son also had to get his wisdom teeth out. he said there were quite a few of them that did. Luckily my son passed all his first tests and he is in great spirits. said he wishes  I could see the tranformation in him from young man to sailor. I cant wait to see him.

Mine had his wisdoms taken out :)

Wow right after i posted about getting his 2nd letter he called... OMG.. I am a happy momma. He said they just got a lot of mail yesterday that was in the mix up from ship # so most likely they all got your letters. He said he is doing great. He sounded so different. He said the whole division should be able to call today so everyone keep your phones on :)

Me too...wasnt it great. what DIV is your recruit in?
