Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 801 & 802!!!

It only happens a few times a year when there are two special ops groups in one TG.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

I'm with Nanee in the congrats category.  No news on my end but I am encouraged by the calls and mail from  both 801 and 802.  Starting to feel my positive spirit dim a bit~I need to shine it back up.  My youngest passed his permit test today :) and as soon as we got into the house he started to walk into his brother's room to rub in the fact that he scored better.  It made me a little misty to see him stop and realize he wasn't there.  The little brother who wanted nothing to do with being like his big brother seems to have a new respect ;).  Well, at least I can be glad for the Giants :)  sorry Detroit fans.

Judomom, we took our son out to eat after PIR. I turned to say something to my husband and when I looked back, my son had devoured a huge hamburger in what seemed like seconds. He just laughed and said he eats really fast now. They literally eat and run in BC.

Sjtina,

What else did you do with your son after PIR? Did you have him for that weekend?

That's hilarious!

They probably don't talk when they eat anymore either then.  Too funny.

Jackflash my son's division had bird watching too. Also something to do with the "Milkshake song". I think what was happening in the past was that they would purposely get into trouble to get the xtra PT. Sounds like the instructors have caught on. lol

Yes-- my son calls them "pointless" punishments. He no like.

So great letters are coming and phone calls are starting! Hooray!  PIR in 6 Fridays!  Maybe a little early for the Friday countdown.....

It's really wonderful to have these forums to share with one another.  It's important to encourage each other and all our SR's.  For those still waiting to hear something.... Hang in there!  Tomorrow is another day.

The first couple of notes from my son had the feeling of the shock of this new life.  By the time I was reading the most recent letter from Sunday I could tell he was already making adjustments, and that he'd been humbled by circumstances.  I'm so very proud of the decision he made to join and I know he's learning things about himself every day as he goes through this transformation process.  I'm watching the PIR countdown clock too!

Ya mine too. He says I've had a major change in lifestyle. I mean MAJOR!

Congrats to all who got letters and phone calls! Sounds like mostly 801's making phone calls. I sent my son in 802 a phone card but it's not activated so we're hoping he got his Dad's follow-up letter with the numbers and password to an already activated phone card! Would be a REAL BUMMER if that held up his phone call.

I'm really hopeful everyone has some kind of news by Friday!  Wish all the moms knew about this website! Feeling real sorry for those who don't.

Thanks Cor! That's a relief to know!

Believe it or not the card I bought was already activated???  He just followed the directions and dialed!
