For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Depressed AGAIN no letter! I thought I planned the day perfect. Got the formed letter 3 days after it was postmarked.
Questions: Once I log on , how can I make this group the first one I see? like a default ?
Where's the refresh button?
What numbers are the most current posts higher or lower? sometimes they are different!
HELP!!!!!!

They come from sherv.net just silly emoticons and lots of them.
The easiest way to find this group is to use the tabs at the top of the page, main, invite, "my page" etc. If you click on the "Groups" tab it takes you to a page with all the groups on the site. Just under the tabs and to the left you will see "All Groups" and "My Groups". Click on the "My Groups" link and it will give you a page that brings up all the groups you have joined.
You can also go to the main page of this PIR and bookmark it. Once you bookmark it and open your browser (don't know which one you are using) there should be a link at the top that says bookmarks, when you click on it it gives you a pull down menu (or something like it) and it will show this group. Click that link and it should bring you to this groups page (or whichever page you bookmarked.)
Yes, this site reads up and down (grrrrrr). The main comment wall current posts are right at the beginning. In the discussion groups the current posts will be on the last page.

I finally got a letter! I was so excited to see the envelope in the mail box! Almost couldn't read it because I was tearing up! He is doing well, said things aren't that hard, he was sore from PT at first but not too bad. Sounds like things are going well. I'm so looking forward to more letters and a phone call. Hopefully I will see more postings of people getting letters today. My son said he got his first mail call Saturday night.

Oh I hope so! My best friends is in this division and I've written him two letters so far but none of us have heard from him. I've already got my first letter from my fiance in div 021 who left a day after him!

Hi all! I've been posting on the 11-30-12 PIR page and just noticed this one so wanted to chime in. My son is Div 023. I was so happy to get my first letter from him today! Haven't had a chance to read through all the posts yet, but I will. Also hope to meet many of you at graduation!

Glad you got a letter from your son!!!!! I'm still waiting for a letter from my daughter :( I haven't slept much & have list weight, because I miss her so much. This is horrible! I didn't get the I'm here call either and I'm just about to lose my mind!
