Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 021 & 022

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

That's awesome the call came at a good time so you could tell him about your address. I sent letters to ship 03 starting on the 11th and ship 04 starting on the 18th I think so I hope he gets them soon.. plus the letter I sent out today telling him about how I didn't get the call. Rough night/day. Knowing at least some people are getting letters though helps.

YOU  BET I WILL. Lol I work two jobs for no reason. And this particular job i dont like too much anyways, but oh well. and idk :( maybe their starting to come in. So mail is arriving to them everynight? All my fiance said in one of his letters during last week was no mail yet, and i was confused with that, I thought mail was every sunday? Or is mail every night and they can only send it on sunday?

Awesome! Atleast they'll be getting things every night then! waiting till sunday would have been harder then us waiting for our wednesday/thursday LOL

haha I'm so happy to be seeing us in higher spirits. :) I'm floating on cloud nine. I have written him three letters today LOL One after reading his letter, one after his phone call and now I'm writing him another one XD

I forget where I read it, but one of the wives/gfs on this site said in one of her letters her SR wrote "it's official we can send and receive letters Monday through Friday" but yeah I am pretty sure they (usually) only get time to write on Sunday. Both of my letters were postmarked for Monday and he had written them Sunday.

I had a teacher who told me if I miss class Thursday (the day before PIR) so I could leave with my boyfriend's family Thursday that she would drop my final grade by a letter. Luckily my mom is now going to go so I don't have to miss class or dive by myself.

Oh wow, lets keep fingers crossed then

Hi Felicia, my son is also in Div 022 and he is loving it. He said getting the dog tags the other day really made him feel great. Said he feels more like a sailor every day. His only complaint was that he had 4 wisdom teeth removed but he said he is dealing with that ok. I know after I talked to him I felt 1000 times better

I got my third letter today!! My boyfriend wrote it Monday but it was postmarked Wednesday. It was a reply to my #11 letter, which is the first of my letters that he has received. Hopefully he has gotten more this week. It was an awesome surprise.

Keeping my fingers crossed! Its been a terrible week, and waiting till thursday seems so long from now!!

I missed his call Thursday (he got through to his dad though) so it was a much needed pick-me-up. Lol. He said it's gotten harder and their division does a lot of stupid stuff and messes up a lot, so I hope they get it together!! If you don't get another one early next week maybe you will have a few in the envelope Thursday (:

Yeah I hope so. I had five in my last letter home this week. So i hope my SR isnt getting one in trouble. He told me a story once when his dad was in the airforce, during basic on watch one night, his dad got bored so started writing a letter to his mom. His Instructor came up on him and found him and started yelling at him. Apparently this instructor was a short female and his dad thought this was hilarious how loud and mean this girl was being to him and he accidently smirked. LOL he said the rest of his bootcamp was hell.
