I finally received some letters from my husband today (6 in total) I thought that I would be jumping up with happiness but I'm FAR from happy. My worst fears has come true and his not happy, I just received his address last Friday but he thinks I was ignoring him. He saids that the only thing he was looking forward to was my letter and out of 93 guys in his Div he was the ONLY one not getting letters. He said being there is like a nightmare and that he regrets everything, he saids being there is not worth losing his family and he cries each and every night. He failed his PT and swimming test.
I feel so helpless this was supposed to be his dreams and that's the ONLY reason why I made peace with him leaving but now he tells me he's not happy and that he made a bad decision. This is the worst I've felt since the day he left :'(

Awesome I guess I should start stacking up on stamps :) Are they also allowed to write every day?? He didn't date any of his letters so I was sort of confused about what days he was actually writing.
Great advice Bugsmama! 28 years...I hear ya...though we are a reservist Family. So, only two deployments!
I so agree with you and that is why I love this site. I know that there are others who "understand"...that, in and off itself helps to not feel alone.
It sounded like he was writing to me on different days too and he said that he would try to write to me every night so that got me a little confused.
Since they are only allowed to send letters out on Sundays does that mean I shouldn't expect anything else till next Thursday? Or could there still be some more letters on their way?
only expect on thursday. :) And my fiance was writing every night also. I know their not suppose to but it was still lovely recieving all these letters :) I cant wait till i get the one from today. We were able to talk today
He didn't make a bad decision, he's just homesick & it's your job to cheer him up and make him feel confident that he has no worries as far as you are concerned. Tell him all the stupid funny things that are happening. Cheer him up. Just let him know that you are 100% behind him. So many folks have told me how much they loved the Navy & or had a relative that loved it. It's a tremendous opportunity & he's SO lucky to have been accepted. This is just a couple of weeks...It will be PIR before you know it! I am saying prayers for strength for you both! <3
That makes me wonder if their allowing for more mail out days! Oh i hope so. :) If you got one friday then maybe I'll have one today? Does mail run on saturdays?
