Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 015 & 016.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Kawilde I love reading all the post too.  It sure has answered a lot of questions, and offered a lot of support.  I am so excited to be getting so close to our PIR date.  I also am looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hello Ladies,

If you have not sent the questionnaire to your SR's you should, it is really informative, and I don't think my son minded at all.  He filled it all out completely.  I was trying to find it so that I could give you all a link, But I just cant

locate it. Anyone else have the link?

Today my son turns 19 and I can't even talk to him. :-(. I'm gonna make one of his favorite meals and a cake I honor of his day. I will have his little brother blow out his candle. I'm a little emotional today and already shed a few tears. Happy Sunday navy family. It's almost November. :-)

beckybec - Happy Birthday to your SR.  I am sorry for you today.  It will be one of those HARDER Days.  My heart is with you. Come on PIR NOV 21

Thank you deb. I made it through the day ok. I hope my SR did too.
Pink it's good to keep the traditions going. My mom always makes my SR a pumpkin pie for his birthday every year. She did it this year too and posted a pic on his fb. Happy birthday to your SR as well.

becybec, I hear ya girl.....my son tuned 19 yesterday.  We always go out for birthday dinners it just our thing...we dont do a lot of other stuff but dinner was always a big deal...so my sister called and we went out and celebrated his birthday....we held our glasses up and got a stanger to take a picutre...I am printing it on Monday and mailing it to him.  1st birthday not with my baby!  Hope he knows were thinking about him.

Everyone, were about to get hit with a storm!  It sounds like our babies are going to get a lot of snow but that is it. I dont want my son to worry...they wont know about our bad weather right? What will they tell them?  By the way....I did not get a letter this week.  I am so BUMBED out about it.  I hope I get one this week.  Hugs to everyone, and anyone that is in the way of this storm....be safe!

Be safe everyone

I sent my son one of those questionnaires and I just got it back in the mail today. I never laughed so hard before. It was great. Every mom should send one. :-)

So glad you sent it to him.  Its really was great receiving it. Learned a lot and it made me feel a little closer to him.

I agree that every mom should send one.
