Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 801 & 802!!!

It only happens a few times a year when there are two special ops groups in one TG.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

It's Wednesday.... What's the word friends?

Who got some mail?

Who got a phone call?

Who got skunked so far (like me)?

Tricks or Treats?

WELL NOTHING ELSE SINCE LAST WEEK.

I'm hoping for a letter tomorrow.  Received the 8 min. phone call last week, but nothing since.

I hope all is good in their world.

Nothing for us either!  This is our son's favorite holiday - guess he's dressing as a SR today! :)

Recieved letter and a call last week, but got a letter today in the mail.

No phone call yet, I guess they arent letting the guys who missed out on the calls, make the call time up! :( Oh well, I guess I have to wait for the Im a Sailor call! No letters this week yet however I will be checking when I get home from work!

Jackflash.....you still havent gotten your call either? I wonder how many of us didnt get one?

Nope-- no phone call for me yet.

I did get one (skinny) little letter today- that appears to have been written this past Sunday.  He doesn't mention that he's received any letters at all, so I have no idea if he's getting mail.  He doesn't really answer any of the questions I've been asking, except in very general terms.

He does say that all the 802 guys are studs--- "Top Notch Guys" he says-- and that they are all really starting to mesh.  He's made several close friends (but doesn't name any) and other than saying it's a grind-- he isn't complaining at all.  They've started having some good work outs again-- just not enough!

That's my boy!

Exciting JF you finally got a letter. I got one today too. Already telling me what to bring at Thanksgiving(even though he has not gotten the form yet) and what he wants at Graduation. He sounds good. My son is one of those 802 "studs"

Hey JackFlash,

You made me smile! My son is one of those studs. I got a very brief letter today saying that they are very busy. From the tone of his letter it seems that things are coming together. Looking forward  to seeing them at PIR.

Nothing since my letter and phone call last week-very thankful for those! Ran to the mailbox today, but will run out there again tomorrow....hoping! SR in 802

I have a stud 802 too...;)  I also got a letter, if that's what you can call it...but  I am not complaining.  I sen't him a "fill in the blank" thinking he could write more good stuff, but no.  I still got one word answers.  I do know he misses desserts and he is proud of himself for staying out of trouble.  Still struggles with folding and stowing.  No surprise there.  I have to echo the person who said that they were excited to be in the 20's till PIR.

michie, I have a cute story about desserts, since they are not allowed to have them.

We were at the hotel after PIR and my son kept staring at a piece of chocolate the maid left. I had no idea what he was looking at until he said politely "can I have that" lol. Geez who would of thought.

Too funny- and boy am I glad to "see" you here tonight- you didn't blow or float away.
