Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 801 & 802!!!

It only happens a few times a year when there are two special ops groups in one TG.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Just realized that a couple of these answers can be found on the main group page so just the pre-buds question, i guess!

Thanks sailormom! Very helpful!

We received a letter today! WooHoo! It wasn't as long as the other 2 we received but that is ok, all I care about is hearing from him. He too expressed how he is loving that they are getting to work out more....but also said that they are getting along better and learning to work together. So very proud of our SR!

I received some letters today, they made me so happy and so sad at the same time. These letters actually sounded like him and he seemed more like himself than the previous one. Unfortunately, he will no longer be in this PIR date due to the PASS program he has been recommended to take this week.. which sets him back 3 WEEKS! He will not be graduating until 12/21 now which breaks my heart. When he opted to take this course to improve his social skills he didn't realize the next PIR wasn't until 3 weeks later (he thought he would be able to go back to his division). Luckily my tickets can be transferred because I went with Southwest, but I can't believe I have to wait that much longer. He is sad to be leaving behind all his 802 guys, he said they have all been really supportive and there for him with the situation he is going through. I'm sad I wont be meeting all of you at PIR in November, and I thank all you 802 family members for raising such stand up recruits that helped my boyfriend out through this rough past month.

Bummer KTKat. Hang in there

That is sad KTKat. Hoping the next group is really awesome for you and your bf.

KTKat-- sorry to hear your news.  He's blessed to have your love and support.  I know it's an extra few weeks, but you should be so proud that he's sticking with it and doing everything he needs to do to make it through.  I suspect he will have an opportunity to catch up and rejoin these fellas in the next phase of their training.  I'm glad to hear he felt supported by the other guys as well, it's a credit to the whole group of them.  Hang in there kiddo.

Sorry we won't meet you 11/30/12, KTKat.  Glad to hear he sounds more like himself and that he feels supported by peers (and you).   I bet he will see those 802s again.  His willingness to take recommendations will serve him well on this journey he has chosen.

Thank you for all your kind words and thoughts! If all goes well he will be in 803 (the division that is just forming this week). He's bummed he has to redo everything, but I told him to look at it like he will be a step ahead and know whats coming. He did mention that he will then meet back up with the guys from 801 and 802 in bud/s prep and bud/s. Crossing my fingers for some light at the end of the tunnel.. right now the light is shining VERY higher flight costs and much colder weather for 12/21 PIR!

KTKat......so sorry to hear your news.....our prayers will be with you and your SR. but im sure he will do great. HANG IN THERE!

KTK, so sorry to hear about his setback. I was going to say that his old division will still be there for a bit. Then they will meet up again in BUDs.
