Welcome to the discussion group for division 803.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

I recd the phone call last night also ( re: PIR correct date)
Conor sounded firm , assertive and focused on delivering the message - he sounded very "growed up "
Began the call with "good evening . . . "
Yikes !
BTW the 21st is also Conor's Birthday ! ( he will be 20 )
Still waiting for Internet to get up and running - seems the storm fried the router and after an hour on the phone with a nice tech from verizon - they are sending me a new one tomorrow - still waiting to hear about school tomorrow - no power there yet today .
Soon as I have my computer back I can get on more often and get to know you all ! So glad I found this group . . I am also confused Felicia ! !
Talk to u all soon !
Don't know why I can't add this to "my" groups ? ? And the comment I posted didn't post other than 2 sentences !
Guess I will have to wait til tomorrow when new computer router comes and I can get on properly !

marysuemcc, The reason you can't add this to "my groups", is this is not a separate group from the PIR group, it is a discussion within the PIR group. When you use the "my group" tab at the top of the page, and click on this PIR date, it will bring you to the main discussion for this group PIR date, then click on the division discussion.

Your post actually posted twice, I deleted the duplicate posting. :)

thanx...i have been "computer-less" since the storm and peering at my iPhone screen going BLIND !!!! thanx for your help Ellen

I still haven't received the form letter, but I know he's graduating 12/21 and I know he will be in a 800 division, so I'm guessing it's probably this one. I've been writing him letters every day. Just waiting to get his address so I can send them to him!

If he is definitely in the 800 division there is only one this PIR so I'm assuming it would be:

SR Last Name, First Name

Recruit Training Command

Ship 4 Div 803

3600 Ohio Street

Great Lakes, IL 60088 - 7103

Ladies that got their PIR forms already can confirm this so you can start sending out your letters! It took me 3 weeks to get the PIR form so I made sure to send out letters before I received it so he wouldn't be left out!

He had a air rescue contract, which is special ops and 800 is the special ops division, right? I've also read that the 803 division was the one that had the wrong graduation dates on their letters, and I got a call from him last night saying that the date on the letter (that I haven't received) is wrong. So, I feel pretty sure that he is in 803. Does that sound right to you? If so, I think I will mail some letters!

Yes and Yes! Make sure to number the envelopes if you are sending a lot out especially at first so he knows in what order to open them :)

good idea !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay!!! Thanks! I have a bunch of envelopes to address and number :)

Hi!  Looking forward to getting to know the mom's of the possible friends my son is making!  He is an air rescue recruit.  Received my letter and box fairly quickly, feel fortunate there!  Hoping for the date change phone call, but nothing yet.  Still waiting to make travel plans.  Would be nice to know more info.  If we have 8 hours, a few days, or best of all some time home!  Can't let my mind even go there!  We are from Hershey, PA.

Is there a way to change the direction of the the replys on your page, so that the newest replies are at the top instead of at the end?
