Diz1lizard-so happy for you! Didn't that time on the phone go by so fast? I so want another call, guess I'll have to settle for a letter this Wed. My mailman best deliver the goods or I'm gonna have to hurt him! Hahaha
My girl was sick first few days but wasn't sure if it was nerves or something she ate. She said she tuned 2 pair of skivvies and us using them to polish her boots...lol, she gets that from her Dad!
Amber said they were on week 2and day 5to on Friday so Im thinking they are starting week 3 day 1 tomorrow.

Hi Shipmates!

My daughter Lucie is singing in the choir and actually says she's having a great time at boot camp! The food and her new friends are great, her RDCs are the best on the base and give them their mail as soon as it comes in. From what I understand, that doesn't happen in every division..! We are excited to go up for Thanksgiving "Adopt a Sailor" and stay thru to the graduation weekend. Can't wait to meet you guys! Is anyone else going up for Thanksgiving?  Let me know! We've never been to Chicago and we're not quite sure where to get great turkey dinner.

Hi NavyMom711, so glad you get to go for Thanksgiving!!!  I'm not able to go for the whole week (work..ugh) but will be there for PIR.  If you get to meet any of the other girls in the division, could you give my girl a big hug from me?  She is a flute player, name is EJ.  It would mean an awful lot to us!!!

Hi EJS MOM

I know my sailor Lucie can pick a friend to come for Thanksgiving with us but I dont know her name yet! Waiting for a call this week but Im sure Lucie knows E.J . since they r both in the 903 division being very creative in boot camp! Lucky girls......  My Lucie loves to sing thru middle and high school chorus! i will give ur sailor girl a really Big hug from u and maybe i can take her too  .I cant wait to see some pics from yesterdays graduation since lucie said she is singing in a few before hers Nov. 30 and lets meet there. Im soooooooooo excited to kiss my beautiful Navy baby.

Thanks EJSMOM!
Thanks for the pics and hugs...I will also let Amber know too!
Hi NavyMom711, I am so proud of these kids getting to do what they love to do (singing, playing music, drill) in boot camp!!! So awesome!!! Thank you for being so kind, just giving EJ a huge hug for us would mean so very much to us!!! I can't wait to see her and am looking forward to seeing them perform at PIR. I'm going to look for pictures of Fridays graduation too to see if we can spot her :) I look forward to meeting you 11-30!!!!!
