While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ship 04 (USS Arleigh Burke) Division 803
Welcome to the discussion group for division 803.
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

I would contact the Navy Training Command Center. Under contacts there is a drop down box that allows you to email them a question about graduation. They are very good to respond pretty quickly.

@ Vallie62...I have read that they are limited to 4 guests only. The only ones that can be on the list not included in the 4 guests are children under 12 and active or retired military with miitary ID. So if she has a military ID, I understand that she can be allowed in and not be one of the 4

Does anyone know if they get opportunities to write home besides Sunday. I just read where another recruit from this division is being sent home because of injuries to his shoulders. He was being discharged. :/ He was sick the last time I talked to him and his letters just did not sound like him. I just need one letter that sounds a little more upbeat.
I am so tired of worrying. I am tired of being tired.

Felicia....give it some time...if he was sick then he may not even feel like writing but knows that you need to hear from him. I've heard they all get sick, because of being in such close quarters. Sorry to hear about the guy coming home. Keep your chin up Momma, he'll be fine.

Does anyone know how much if any time off the SRs will get after graduation...which is set for 12.21.12? Just wondering if our boys and girls will get to be home for the holidays?

Danemom2002, I don't think at this point that even the SR's know what is going to happen with liberty. I know it feels like it's been months...but really it's only been 3wks. Keep strong ladies, our guys need us to encourage them, which I know we all are. It's just hard not hearing from our babies.

Dancemom its different for each rate. Some will have to report for A school the next day, and some will stay. For those stating in Great Lakes they should have the weekend to spend with you, most likely will have to be back each night.
Also depending on which direction they go in training will determine the holiday schedule. Most should have some time to come home for the holidays. They accumulate 2 1/2 days a month leave starting in BC.
I know this probably is not much help since there are so many different paths in this division.

There is a website you can go to and send an email to get free phone card numbers for recruits to use at bootcamp.
I sent one to them and received 8. They are good for 20 min each and they ask us to ask our recruits to share them with other recruits in their units. Then there is a site you can go to they give you in the email where you can download a word document that you can cut into individual cards and write the phone card numbers on so they can simply just pass them out to each other.
