Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 011 & 012!

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good Morning.  Today is four weeks since I have seen my SR.  Today, I can not stop crying.. It really hit me again last night thinking about Christmas, and this year I would be alone.  Then, I talked to his GF who has letters to send but to busy to mail.  I write my SR everyday at least once if not twice.  I know that they do live for letters because when he called I asked if I was writting to much and he chuckled and said NO MOM I Love the letters.. Well we too have made it through half way of BC.  November 21st will you please get here... Gotta go get more tissues..

Hello, Ctownmom, I'm Bensmom.  My son is also in Ship 13, Div 011.  We have received several letters and got our first phone call on October 18.  In the last letter we got (10/21), Ben said Boot Camp is starting to get harder because "everything counts" and they are "under alot of pressure".  He said they are starting to come together at a team but at the same time, people are arguing more and more.  He said they are getting very tired during the day and go straight to sleep at night.  I can tell that things are changing - only one and a half small pages this time.  What kind of survey did you send your son?  Sounds interesting.

bensmom -

sorry I haven't gotten back to you earlier. we had to prepare for Sandy and just got our power on again last night. We sustained minimal damage but there are others on the east coast that have just been decimated. It is so sad. The form letter I sent came from this site. On the main page for our PIR group on the right hand side you should find a link. I heard from my son on Saturday.First time since the "I'm here call". It was so nice to hear his voice. I miss him but I know he is doing what is right for him. Three weeks until graduation, I know I can't wait and I am sure our SR's are looking forward to it as well. Will you be attending? and if so do you know where you will be staying? I plan on attending Sarge's meet and greet. I hope you and you family are well and were not impacted by Sandy.

Take Care and enjoy your Halloween.

Hey, there.  Glad to hear you are OK.  That was some scary storm - and the news we're getting is so sad.  Yes, we will be at graduation and have RSVPd for Sarge's Meet & Greet, too.  We're staying at Homewood Suites, I think?  Got the Navy discount - code was on the pamphlet we got with the first "info" letter.  Sandy passed by us last week - only got some high winds and waves here in Northeast FL.  So glad you finally heard from your SR again.  When our son called us, I couldn't even talk for the first 10 minutes or so.  All I could do was listen to him and his dad talking and cry like a baby...LOL

You take care, too.  Hope you meet you at Sarge's M&G.  :-)

Hi my son ship 13 div 011 he sound very tired but good a little good.

Phone call from my SR yesterday 10/27/12!!!!!! I am so happy;)) I am also sad at the same time. I can hear in his voice he may be a bit homesick. He states that many do not know when to shut up, but they are starting to come together as a team.

Mom3 - I am happy that you received a call yesterday.  Is yor SR in Div 016?
