Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 801 & 802!!!

It only happens a few times a year when there are two special ops groups in one TG.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

My husband said the same thing. He said 2 weeks :)

I got a call too. HE was in recruit heaven? Making phone calls, internet, eating food they dont normally get etc. Said they did not get to send mail last week cause they were so busy. I guess recruit heaven was a reward to great inspection scores. Pretty ,much said about the same about the division as everybody else. He is Div 802

We received a phone call today also. WOW was it nice to hear his voice. The conversation lasted for 45min.  He sounds so good and he said he is doing great..so proud of them all.  HOOYAH!!!!! 802...

JackFlash, hot tears sprang into my eyes while I read your story about those young recruits!  Thanks for sharing.  It must have been wonderful to hear your SR's voice and to know that he has recd your mail all this time.

And congrats to all of you who recd phone calls!  This week did seem exceptionally long without a letter, especially since we had recd one each of the last 3 Fridays. Can anyone expound on the SEAL team 8 training with them mentioned a few posts ago. 802 only? That must be incredibly motivating for our guys. Anyone hear from an 801 recently?

Loved your story JackFlash-good for you bringing some humor to those guys. So glad you got a phone call too. That goes for all of you who got calls. I think I love all your boys without having met them-just knowing they are on my SR's team :) I can't imagine the comraderie they feel.

Our SR called and we were furniture shopping. We just found a nice, comfortable, leather sofa, put him on speaker phone and thoroughly enjoyed the call. He was in Ricky Heaven too. Managed to call 2 of his 3 brothers but couldn't reach one.

He's really geeked about how they're doing. Just pray they can keep it up.

He's sick too, getting over something. Didn't want to go to medical in case it looked bad for the team. Too funny, but probably true! Anxious to put faces with all these names! Oh ya he mentioned 2 weeks at Christmas too.

Div 802!

Im so glad everyone is hearing from their SR one way or another. Looks as though 802 has been the division getting to make the calls and send letters. My SR is in 801. I have not heard from him nor have I read any posts about any updates on 801. I hope they are doing ok......:(

I'm with you proudmomma- I didn't hear and I'm 802 so I'm feeling left out too :(...but....I'm sure they must be ok.  I hope we hear from 801 soon because it is a comfort .  18 more days!!!

Nothing from 801 this week, letter or phone call. Less than 3 weeks left, we can all make that :)

Did you all know that Divisions 801 and 802 cannot even speak to each other? That's what my SR told me.

I've been reading a book Lone Survivor and have been learning more about buds training-wow, mind boggling! Also learned the term you all have been using............Hooyah!

just found this out.  seemed a bit crazy to me.  i also have the Lone Survivor book.  it's a real eye opener

I've been wondering about the two Divisions also.  From what I understand they are same in terms of SEAL and SWCC candidates.  I don't think 802 has any EOD or Rescue Swimmer candidates-- does anyone know if 801 does?

I thought "Brother" Divisions trained together as well, but my son hasn't mentioned anything about 801 at all, so I don't know if this is the case or not.  Just because he doesn't mention it, doesn't mean it isn't happening.  It did seem like the mail stopped from both Divisions at the same time.

no letter all last week.  what a surprise saturday night i got a  call from my sr.  he is div 801.  hope others did also.
