Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Yes, it does happen, especially for those arriving on a Monday or Tuesday, that some will be the last to fill a division (some recruits from the week before had to wait on them before they could start training) and will graduate a week before others who arrived on the same date and are among the first in a division. You will just have to wait until you (or his family) get the form letter, but since form letters are coming with the 01/04/2013 date, your SR is probably in that TG, which would be the date that would be typical for one arriving on that date (count 9 Fridays).

It's really very common. When I went to boot camp, they didn't have co-ed companies. There were girls who got there literally 30 minutes before me who graduated a week before me. We were lined up as we arrived, and they were filling up the company as we processed in. They filled it up several girls ahead of me, then started the next company. It took almost a week for us to fill up, then start officially training.
Now, with co-ed companies (though they don't sleep or shower together or anything like that), they fill up a bit quicker, but it can still take a couple of days.
