Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 033 & 034

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

So excited just got my first real call today to. I can't wait to see my son. He sounded a sad but happy to talk to me. I told him things would only get better from here. He said if all goes well he will get to come home for Christmas and his sisters wedding on the 29th. But he will have to report back to A school on the 30th. But I will take it. I am one happy Mom. Just praying all goes well for him and all the sailors.
Had a short call from my son in 034 a couple of hours ago. He's still a bit frustrated about getting IT'd as a group when one person messes up. He knows it's all part of the plan, though. He said most of the division has, or had bronchitis. He did confirm ten days of leave after PIR.

Got call from my son today also. Most have been sick in 034, some have gone home and some have had wisdom teeth taken out. I also heard after Dec. 21st he gets to come home and report to A school on Dec. 30th. Good news!

Yay, My son called too! He sounds tired but he is hanging in there. I miss him so much.

Gotta a haapy letter yesterday and a happy phone call today.  He's been sick, but he's starting to feel better.  Can't wait for 12/21.

My husband called today. Our phone call was only about 7 minutes or so.....how long was the length of other phone calls in Div 034? He also said that most of them, including himself, had been or are currently sick. He is coming with me after PIR! :) He said the division is still struggling a little on working as a team, but I know they will pull it together. He said he will call on Thanksgiving too.

My son is also in Div 034 and we had less than a 10 min call today. He is now well after being sick. Said one other guy who came with him sent home. Also said div trying to work more as a team and has been hard. Didn't know about Thanksgiving call. I told him to keep hanging in there and show leadership. He is 27 and so far, so good.

My sons call was 21 minutes. He wasn't sure when he will call again.

yay RAC1958!!! so happy you got a call!! :)

yay cagician!! So happy you got a call!! Our SR will also be driving back with us for his leave. He decided that he didn't want to go to far into the hole on leave, so will return for A school on the 28th. :)

Thanks MommaJeri. Don't know why my son said he would have to go back a GL if he took leave then go to Pensacola ( his A school). So he is having the Navy fly him to A school after PIR then he will check in and ask for leave . I live 5 hours away so I will pick him up and drive him back to Pensacola. I'm hopeful they will grant him leave from A school. Different then I have read here but sounds like a good plan. :-)

Happy Thanksgiving!! My first without all my kids present.
