Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 031 & 032

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

That is what my daughter said too. She was so excited. She sounded great!!!

I recvd a phone call from my daughter today. Bama my daughter thinks she knows your daughter and I hope you hear from her today.

I did get a call from my daughter today. We talked for about 25 minutes and then she called me right back and we talked for 10 more. It was great to hear her voice. She was sick but I think they all are. She said it was going well. I think she is the athletic petty officer and leads the exercises for DIVS 31 and 32. She was so hoarse with her cold she said it was hard to raise her voice to lead the exercises. We can all sleep got tonight knowing our daughters are OK.

oh good!  I have been hoping to see that you've heard from your daughter!  :-)  Sounds like you had a nice long talk.  great way to start our weekends :-)

Juss received a letter from my boyfriend dated Nov 5 , ugh! They really do hold mail! He said it's a ton of Recruits that don't get letters & that's the only thing that will get them through. I just wish I could write them all , just to let them know we're thinking of all of them ! Well ladies, my weekend has been made , hopefully everyone else enjoys their weekend!

I did the same. I asked the name of some recruits , so that i could write them, to let them know that we're thinking of them & praying for them as well. My boyfriend is on the same ship & i also recieved a phone call on the 16th around 4:30 and a letter on the 17th. I was also informed abput the competition. Seems like they're having a ball and are in great care. Hopefull we all get calls for Thanksgiving! Thankfully, my boyfriend Theo's A-School is in Richmond , VA, an hour away from where we live, and he has too check into A-School on the 7th of January. SO thats a perfect Christmas gift & being that my bday is on the 4th of January, it'll be an even greater gift!

I am very happy to have found this web site. I was able to get a lot of answers to questions and fears just by reading all the comments. I received the first official Navy letter from my son. A very short hand written letter where he told us, he  passed his swim test and that  the real training was to begin, the a phone call home around the 15th of November.I almost didn't answer the phone because I was at work taking care of a patient, thought it was my other son and almost told the desk to tell him to call me back. Thank God I answered and by the time I did he didn't have much time , he was very emotional and was happy to hear my voice. I was worried because I didn't get letters until today. Wondering all the time how he was. In these letters he talks about how hard it is but also talks about graduation and possible leave. I am happy! Yea!  He states that he will call us Saturday to give specifics. I hope everyone else is getting the same info.. and are as happy as I am now. Lots of Luck and Happiness. MG

Just got a phone call from my son. He sounds great. He has made a lot of friends there. He of course thinks his division is the best!

Information: The first call this morning, I couldn't hear him. I wasn't sure that he would be able to call back, but he did. He said that a lot of the phones are broken. The call lasted for 20 minutes.

Hope you all hear from your SR this morning!

Div 11 032

Also received a call from my son this AM. 20 min call. He sounded good and gave us info about possible graduation and specifics. Not sure how much I can put on this site. Said PT is hard but working  hard to pass. Also told him I can write to other recruits if anyone is in need of a letter. I hope he sends me names.  Hope everyone hears from their SR. Love to all.

Did you ever receive your call?

Jons Mom,

My son is also in Div 32 and I will ask my son about him.  Hopefully, they will be able to keep in touch.  My son also said that Div 32 was getting along better as well.  They call my son Jersey.  I am sure your son will know who he is.  I hope your son gets better!!!!!!

Maria

My son was telling me that his old bunk mate got really sick and he hoped he was okay. He said that he was from Alabama and that he gave my son a bible before he left.  Now I wondering if he was talking about your son. We're from Maryland and my son is 23 years old - if that helps.
