I gathered your son is a boot camp. The ship he is referring to are names of barracks. Refer back to your form letter and look for the PIR (Graduation from Boot Camp) date and join that group. Here is a list - just click on the underlined link:
PIR: 1/18/2013 TG 10 - ? Divisions
PIR: 1/11/2013 TG 9 - 7 Divisions (053-058 & 909)
PIR: 1/04/2013 TG 8 - 9 Divisions (045-052 & 908)

PIR: 12/21/2012 TG 6 - 11 Divisions (031-038, 803, 904 & 905)
You should check out the information on this discussion.

You'll see a diagram of the barracks and the names (after US ships) for each barrack.
If I assumed incorrectly and your son is deployed on an official US Navy vessel, then check this list of Navy For Moms groups associated with REAL ships:

Good luck to your son. BQB
OK, Got it....I am already a member of that group, thought there might be another group with the ship's (barrack's) ...Thanks for replying....: )
Before much longer, there will be discussions within the PIR 01/11/2013 TG 9 - 7 Divisions (053-058 and 909) group for the brother divisions. Divisions 055and 056 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.
