Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 904 and 905

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!  And just think how special our Christmas is going to be - hopefully everyone will be spending it with their SR!

Got a call from our SR yesterday!  Things are going well - said their division worked the PIR on 11/21 and someone told him there would be pictures posted on the Navy facebook page.  He said that Monday is their 3-3 day..... He said they had a great Thanksgiving dinner!  He said the food is awesome and he thinks he is gaining weight too. Even had enough time that he called his girlfriend.

It is sooo great to live vicariously through your posts.  Thank you for posting :)

Thanks DylansAnuke!  I'm not on facebook but my other son went on and found the 900's Division Facebook Page and joined.  We found 4 pictures of our SR working the 11/21 PIR!!!  So if you haven't looked at that yet you might want to.  One of the moms on there posted a TON of pictures - way more than on the official Navy Recruit FB page.  It was so fun to see them working the PIR - and they look so handsome in their uniforms with the gold cords!  I'm waiting to find out what the date is of the next PIR he will work so I can look for more pix.

We are getting so close now - I can hardly wait until 12/21!

I have looked but cannot see any.  He is in the officers lounge so out of view.  I cant wait for PIR!!!

are we wearing any special colors for PIR......??

I'm game if everyone else is - I know that right now I am just trying to figure out how I can stay warm!  What does everyone think?

Also, don't forget to order your ribbons from Lala the Ribbon Queen.  You can put your SR's name and the division on them - we will be able to look for each other that way too!

My family is going to Sarge's Meet & Greet on Thursday - hopefully I will be able to meet many of you there!

Also going to Sarges.  May just carry a flag with 904 like a tour group hahaha

Good Morning everyone!  Got another letter yesterday from my son - Thursday's are my favorite day now!  All is going well and he included the email address so I can send his itinerary for leave.   Hopefully everyone is getting that information now.

Also my husband ordered the USS Reuben James Challenge Coin off of EBay so we can give that to our son for a PIR gift.

I've got to get in gear and get my ribbons ordered from Lala the Ribbon Queen.  Hopefully everyone will be ordering them so we can all find each other at Sarge's Meet N Greet and at PIR.  She also has some cool window stickers/magnets/ornaments to order too!

DylansAnuke - I like your idea of carrying a "904" flag to the Meet N Greet - are you volunteering to make something?

I was also thinking of getting my SR a black watch for a PIR gift.  Does anyone have any suggestions of a nice sturdy watch that would be good?

I will make the flag!! Of course!  I ordered coin and also thinking watch as gift.. lol  Thinking a divers watch..have one by invicta picked out but want to check reviews on other sites first

That's great about the flag!  And let me know what you find out about the watch - I am interested in what you hear from the reviews.

Thanks!
