OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Wade called last night at 1:45 am. It appears that someone put a note on his door to CALL HIS MOTHER. Way to go spook! Wade said, you know he Navy takes care of me now. I am fine. He will be there another 9 months, loves school, but has not offically started his A school. He will be changing addresses in 2 weeks. I at least know that he is alive and doing well. I did raise him to be independent, but really! Mary he may be in the same class as your son. Sounds like they are waiting for you son to make a full class.

When I was at work and meeting yesterday, my husband thought my computer was broken. "It keeps making a ding sound all day yesterday and the day before.
