Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 904 and 905

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Aye carumba! My son is in Division 905 so I wonder if they are ran differently?

Thanks for the info!! I think I will email it to the address you provided just in case....

I would guess it would be a different email address.......it looks like it has to do with their division and training group......

I think it is a different email address as well, so I didn't send the email.  I will continue to hope for the best. I did mail it to him so I hope that will suffice. I'd be terribly upset and he would  be as well, if he didn't get to come home for Christmas. Guess we'd just move Christmas to Chicago :)

Thanks for everything! I hope we'll run across each other at PIR!

Wanted to share with you all that the gate passes for PIR are available to print now.

15 more days!!!!

Also, thanks to a post (thank you!) I was able to get in contact with RTC and emailed my son's itinerary this morning.

Hi All - just seeing how everyone is doing.  We are so close now - only 2 more weeks!  I hope everyone is getting ready - have you got your ribbons?  There is also a Challenge Coin available for our ship.  My hubby ordered it and it came the other day - pretty cool looking.....  I've borrowed cold weather clothes from a friend so hopefully we won't freeze LOL.  Need to make arrangements to board the dog still......I'm slowly checking things off my list!

Can't wait to meet you all!

Doing great - got a letter today - he just finished Hell Week, SamT and Marlinspike -said it was pretty cool. Sounded real upbeat and excited about graduation. I have my ribbon and my coin is on its way. We have hotels waiting and M&Gs planned. Even some special meetings with other Navy Moms. This is gonna be an event to remember. I put out the seventh flag today only two weeks to go.

Love the pics RanesMom!

Thanks - we are almost there !! we leave in 8 days and my mind is ready, but my suitcase is NOT!

Happy Sunday all!  So did anyone receive phone calls this weekend?  We haven't heard anything yet....guess we got a little spoiled with phone calls the last 2 Saturdays.....

We went to watch the Navy/Army football game yesterday(YAY NAVY!) with a group of "veteran" Navy Moms (and Dads) and we were talking about boot camp.  They all reminded me to remind our SR's the importance of TEAM WORK during Battle Stations 21!!! They said the important thing is to STAY AWAKE and help keep each other awake....they also said it is important to REPEAT the orders/commands that are given to them during BS21.  That helps them remember what they are doing since I guess they are pretty tired during this test.

And when they call home to tell you they passed ('cuz they ALL will pass - I have Faith in them!) make sure you tell them to say if the entire division passed so we can post it on here.  I know depending on the date of BS21 some of us may be on an airplane flying to Chicago when they make the "I'm a Sailor" call.

If you hear when BS21 is schedule make sure to send a private message to diannep as she keeps track of all this for us!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!  We are ONE DAY CLOSER!

utamom - so sorry you won't be able to make it :(  my son is in division 904 but I will do my best to take some pictures of the drummers and hopefully I will get your son!  I will let you know after PIR (and when we get back home to California) and will email you whatevery pics I get.  Hopefully some other moms will take pics for you too. And keep on the girlfriend and family for pictures too!

Hopefully you will see him after A school graduation!

There are 2 face book pages Im on, one is 900 division and the other is for PIR 12/21. Several parents took pics of the last graduation performance and posted them all on the site. I found several of my son. I am positive you will find one of him, especially easy to pick out playing the drums. Im sure they will post all the pics from our 12/21 as well. I will be posting mine on there!

If your on face book the page is PIR 11-30-12 TG- 15 Diisions (019-030, 801-802 & 903) it's a closed group so you have to send a friend request :) once accepted you can look at all the pics those parents took at that graduation. Rose took the best ones, I think there was like 97 pics. I did save some of the drummers I saw if u want me to email them to you tomorrow? They are on my work computer. Hope this helps
