Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 037 & 038

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

jangles, thanks so much I was missing the div part!!!

Oh Good...now in the lick of time.....hopefully you will get an e-mail confirmation tomorrow.

Well it's 8:30 pm and no confirmation yet. The dead line is tomorrow and I'm not sure i will survive tomorrow. I'm praying I will hear something soon.

I got my confirmation the next morning at 8:30. Relax this evening, it'll be there in the morning. Really excited to meet you ladies and of course to see my son.....and bring him home. We are staying in Chicago until Sunday, I'll probably never go to Chicago again, so will see it. My son wants to go to church in Chicago. That's my boy. :)

So proud of him....

No confirmation yet! I just wonder what the problem is. I have a feeling if there is a problem they will make him handle it himself and I will continue to wonder. Haven't resent because I feel sure they received it. Same email everyone else is using.

Well it's 4:25 on 12/5 and still no confirmation on the paperwork. Husband said not to call but if there is any problem with his leave I would rather know now then when it's too late and he can't come home.

My husband is kinda the same way. Says it's out of our hands and there is nothing we can do right now.

Mommamac, did you get confirmatio on your son"s travel arrangements?

Hi jangles, as of today 12/7, nothing. My husband keeps telling me not to worry but I'm sick with worry that something will go wrong when we go to take our on home.

My SR called last night to tell me he was sending pictures home. I hope that you all get to get your SR pictures.

Just got a 35 minute call from our SR. He sounded great and is looking forward to the upcoming days. He did tell me that all his travel paperwork has been approved. That made my day. Said that he had been talking to some if the other SR's and they were saying how it is funny that the moms have been having conversations and should be fun when e ermine finally meets. His division is looking forward to graduation.

I also got a 33 minute call tonight. We were in Macy's talking to a salesperson and just left him standing there. My son got 2 hours of free time for passing all his inspections and went to the NEX and called from there. He was looking for some sweet tea, lol. He is a southern boy through and through!  His leave has been approved which is a huge weight gone. I just hope they let him go in time to get to the airport to catch a 4:19pm flight. I am afraid it will be tight. Next week is so important for the recruits with Battle Stations and the end testing. He just asked for extra prayers for next week. He is so ready for this phase to be over and so am I! Can't wait to see him.
