Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 037 & 038

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Our son also said that they need extra prayers for next week. He was really excited about having the free hour at the NEX and they are looking forward to passing the final tests.
We also got a long phone call, my SR said he aced all his inspections and tests...he said the 037 is second to the 038 in total flags won!!! Sounds like a great group of kids!!! They got their dress whites and blues...he was sooo excited !!!! Now I'm doing my happy dance.....
Our son was also telling us about all the flags they have won. He is also in 037, said that is why there leader has been so hard on them. He wants them to pass with high honors not just slide by.
My SR is in 037 also and told me the same thing about getting all their flags. He also said 038 is just across the hall and razzes them all the time because they are ahead. No matter where they end up, I am so proud of them. But push on 037! Mine also said he would know next week where he will be stationed.

My call was not as long as you ladies calls. I am wondering if that has something to do with him being a flag guy at graduation so he has to practice. He did tell me that he passed his inspections. We are getting closer!

Disappointment! No phone call! And only a very short letter.
Thanks for the information from the other families that did get calls.

Roz, is your SR in DIV 038? If so, we didn't hear from ours this weekend, either. *sigh*  Hopefully, it will be their turn to call soon....

No. My SR is Div 037. Not sure what the issue is, but definitely frustrating. All we can do is wait. I am with you BIG "SIGH" . But it is almost time and hopefully "A" school will be a little better with the communication opportunities.
Our son is in 037 and he had told us that the entire division got 1 hour free time at the NEX and that was Friday evening. So sorry you didn't hear from your son though. Their division is in 2nd place as of Friday but they are very close to being # 1 pending the rest of the tests this week. Hope you hear from Him soon.
SR in 038.... No call this weekend either. Was so looking forward to talking to him. :-(( thanks to all the other moms posting on N4M. It is so helpful just to hear what's going on with the other div's.

So excited for next week, my son is ship 11 div 037. Does anyone know when their Battle Stations is? He was aboe to tak for awhile Friday night, he sounded so relaxed and calm...Not like his Mom who is bubblin with anticipation of seeing him at PIR. Wonder what the snow is like there. Sure don't want to get snowed in...

Just a heads up ladies, some weather models are showing a heavy snow for the Chicago area on Thursday, December 20th. Just be prepared ....my hubby was driving up to get our SR on Thursday but now will be going Wednesday in case road conditions are bad. Just be aware of this possibility and know that weather models aren't always accurate. Let's pray this one is wrong.
