Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 051 and 052.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Just remember, Ladies, that by training week #4, which is usually about bootcamp week #5, there is a real turnaround for them. That is the week that they start feeling so much more positive about everything and know that graduation is just around the corner for them. You will see this change in their letters and phone calls! Then the excitement begins!
My son sent a letter to his youngest sister, but that is it so far. Waited at home all weekend for a phone call and didn't get one. Missed the weekend before.. Very sad... Miss him lots.
I haven't heard of this adopting a SR..We are unable to go for Christmas and then Graduation... What is this all about? I know we are not suppose to send them anything. Just wondering.
Got my second letter today! He sounded really good. Ship3 div52. He said he got his Dog Tags. I told him now him and the dog are really related lol/. He passed physical training test and he had a big test on Tuesday of this week . He is trying really hard to become a Section Leader. He cant wait for Graduation. What a awesome letter. Lots of things going on. He even wrote his Gradmother she was so excited on the phone when she called me. Good day today. I just keep praying for him everday to do his very best. Go Navy!
That is awesome that you got a letter. Been standing by our mailbox.... Hope we get one today!!!
So I am trying to get a list going of what I will need for graduation. So far I have read bring binoculars. I thought I saw somewhere no video but I could be wrong. What are we allowed to bring for the graduation? Camera's? And how dressed
up do we get for the graduation? I am a sweatshirt and jeans girl so I know I will have to purchase something. I have gotten
my enhanced license because we are driving through Canada. From where we live it will be less miles and hrs. I know I have
also read the up to a certain age they do not have to be on the list. Was wondering about bringing my 7yr old because she misses her brother soo much. A lot of questions.. Sorry
I got a letter today!!!!! I just needed reassurance that all was ok from him.... Now to read it again....LOL
yay!!!!! I was very happy to hear my sons voice also.
My sons division must be doing good ship 3 Div052. I got a call friday and I got one this morning. He is being adopted by his bunkmates family for Christmas. I am very happy for him. He knows we cant afford to be there for Christmas then be there for Graduation.
.
I wish I could see more recent post of hearing from our SR's. I know this week they were busy but it has been a while since they called last. I believe two weeks from last Saturday. I hope all is going well for them!!!!!!
I got a short letter last Wednesday and yes its been 2 weeks since I talked to him. When he wrote he scribbled over his dog tags. I sure do miss him. 16 days time is going fast but I am feeling sad today, You get used to them being around and talking to them everyday or even yelling about something lol. They are growing up and making a better life for themselves. I love my Son just like the rest of you. Sorry but I am missing him today
