Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 085 and 086.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

My fiance is also on Ship12 Div 85 & I have yet to hear from him as well. I received the initial phone call and the packet in the mail that states his PIR date and mailing info. Anxious to hear from him. I pray these Divisions are doing well!
I just learned that DIV 083 is in the phone room!! from another post. Hopfully DIV 85 will be calling soon.
Where did you see that at?! So excited!
Lets all hope and pray we hear from our children and loved ones. I can't wait to hear my baby's voice. Merry Christmas!
It looks like 083 div were the only ones who got calls. Didn't see any posts for us. I feel like I want at least a letter or call from my SR before I book my trip. And this weather! We made a rental car rez, but I'm gonna have a back-up plan for transportation in place. I'm confidant we'll here from them by Saturday or Sunday! God bless!
Good afternoon jillymom I feel the same way you do. I want to hear from my son before I book my flight. It would really make my day to have a letter from him in the mail when I get home keeping my fingers crossed.
Pebbles, you can always cancel a hotel rsv without penalty. How far is your drive?
Still no phone call or Letter, getting anxious to hear from my SR.
Anyone else going as nuts as I am? Why does it seem that our SR's are the last to get letters to us? Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since they left. I know its driving me crazy. I have never gone this long without either talking, texting or communicating somehow with my son. I just have to keep telling myself everything is fine, they are doing well and keeping themselves busy. I know our SR's are thinking about all of us. We WILL hear from them soon. I have faith!
I think we're all going nuts!! I rushed home tonight hoping to find a letter, but nothing. Jskmom, you are right, we just have to keep the faith! They are busy doing what they have to do and working hard as a team. They are OK. We're lucky to have this website where we can all communicate and gather information. If not for this, I know I'd be wondering if I was the only one who hadn't heard from my SR, so it is comforting to be able to reach out to other SR mom's that are as much in the dark as I.
