Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 913.

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

oh!...when did you get a phone call!!!...I have been staring at my phone willing it to ring ever since Christmas Eve!!

This is the longest I have ever gone not talking to my SR. I feel like I am going crazy!!

He was able to call me after what he a security clearance something something.  It was a very fast phone call and I didn't think to write down critical data vs "Oh, I'll totally remember that when I hang up this phone."  I hope you all get the opportunity to see 847 on your area code caller ID.  I did the same with my phone over the Holidays, as well.

I received my first letter today!!!! I'm am over the top happy!! He said BC is tough and he can't wait for 2/8/13, just wrote personal notes to each of us did not give to much info about BC. Hope you all receive your letters soon. I see he wrote his on Christmas which broke my heart knowing how hard that must have been to be writing home rather than being with family on Christmas.

Got a letter from my son today! He said the whole div is doing well and training ahead of schedule :D He said it is very tough but its going well. Hope everyone is getting letters today!!

I am so jealous you ladies!  This is a letter different from the form letter, correct?  I never did find anything about that.  My SR made a comment about being ahead of schedule on his phone call... what does that mean, exactly?

My son said the same in his letter - that they were ahead of schedule - which probably means they are all marching and know their commands as needed. Makes sense because everyone in this division should have some kind of prior experience or just has great Military bearings. He said the official training was starting the next day which would have been 12/26 from what I can gather. It is great they are all doing so well though! He said starting this week they will be able to write every Sunday so if you don't get a letter tomorrow, you should have one by the middle of next week for sure!

I think because I am in Texas it will come a day or two later than letters up North.  Hopefully tomorrow!!

I got a letter too!!!...mine was also writen on Christmas but it did contain some details about what was going on and some of the RDC's...it was funny so it made me hopefull that his spirits are still up!

I got a letter today but it sounds like my SR is in a different division, his letter did have ship 02 Div 913 on the return address but he said they are still in P week and it was written on Christmas.  His exact words "boot camp sucks", but he really liked his division and RDC, he said the RDC was funny which was not something I expected. It didn't sound like he had gotten any of my letters.   I hope you all get your letters soon.

Lisah - My son said they were on day 14 - Christmas day and the first "official training day" would be the following day - Dec 26th They had a while in P-days but they seem like they will be on track since they are doing so well before training even started!

My SR was talking about how funny the RDCs were too...there was a story about hating cats, being bipolar, and Barney...makes you wonder whats going on over there!!...but I am glad they are in high spirits, which considering they were only allowed to write us on Christmas, I have to say is pretty impressive!

Finally, my letter!!  What a huge sigh of relief.  Something I can read over every moment of every day!!
