Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 913.

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Received my 3rd letter!  It is dated 1/1/13 and postmarked the 2nd so I have no idea WHY I am getting it now... our mail service is totally screwed up in my neighborhood; time to complain to the post office.

He said they are, in theory, allowed to write everyday but their RDCs has only allowed them to write on Holiday Routine days.  As of 1/1/13, they were still on week 1 but he was expecting Feb. 8th graduation. I miss him so impossibly much.

What is the most recent letter date you ladies have received?

Same as you. Except I received mine on the 5th and it was postmarked Jan 02.Mine was a bunch of letters stuffed into 1 Teeny tiny envelope lol. We're lucky that we get so many Holidays so we've been receiving alot more mail than usual.

I know I should be grateful :P

My son called this morning during a second security clearance round of paperwork. He said tomorrow is the first academic test and Sarge said if they all get 4.5(?) or better they will get a trip to the phone room. He said he would do fine but seemed less sure of the whole group. He said they can receive mail everyday but he can only write on Sunday. He requested more visually stimulating things like pictures of friends in his letters. He leaves for Pensacola Feb. 9th and is there for 20 weeks. His rate is IT. When I asked how he was, he was just quiet. I think he is doing ok though. He said it is hard.

Amy,

I left you a reply on the discussion you made. Would you please go there and read it? TY!

My SR is going to Pensacola for IT too, but he said it was only 14 weeks for him. He's been pretty sick AND homesick haha I sure hope they're all doing better. That phonecall will do wonders to all of us.

I got one Friday that was dated the 31st. My SO said that he was in his rack while he was writing it and hinted that the division might be getting into a bit of trouble. He didn't go into detail though.

Ok, looks like things are going the way they should be.  Thank y'all, AGAIN, for helping me stay sane in moments of slight panic!!

I received a letter dated December 28. I just received that today. I know my son is in knots today knowing his Irish are playing in the big game. I sooo hope I can write him and Irish win letter!!
@ krissyj my son said the same thing he mentioned that some kids were eating in class and the class got in trouble, he was not happy.
This is horrible news :/ Don't want to hear they got in trouble :/ Hope they get back on track!!
I hope for the same thing one would think since they are a few weeks in already that they would not be doing stuff to get into trouble.
