Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 091 and 092.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son said the same thing, which surprised my husband since 20 years ago when he was in he told our son the food was awful.

LisaS  my son told me the same things about the non conformers and he did sound so much better although he is sick and seems to have had it a while.

I hope he get over that sickness, these poor guys are struggling with all the extra IT they have to do, so I hope he will recover soon!

Nicksmom, yes. We were actually finishing up our call when I heard a bunch of commotion in the back ground. Then he said he had to go. I wonder why so many got sick? My SR said that it was a lot of guys that had it. Then he said that a bunch got sick after eating some crab dinner with Alfredo. I thought it was funny when I asked about PIR, he didn't know what that was.

Hello all, I received a phone call from my SR this evening as well. He sounded great and also said that they had a lot of privileges taken away due to some of the guys were not doing as told. Him and another guy were chosen to design, create, and paint the flag for his division. He was very up beat and seemed very happy. I am so very proud of him. Four more weeks to go!

Hello All, Well no phone call tonight, but since it sounds like most of div 091 received calls hopefully 092's will come tomorrow.

I received a 15 min phone call from my boyfriend today. He is from Ship 3 Div 92. He sounded pissed...LOL, but that is a sign that he is feeling okay and well. I hope everyone gets a call from their recruits. It felt really amazing after the phone call =)

I received a letter today from my boyfriend in Div 092. It was very short and sweet. He said that they are really busy. He had to study for a gun qualifications test so he had to cut the letter short. I hope many of you received letters today (or this week) too!

Hi, I am new to this site, but am excited to see what other Navy moms have to say about this experience. I received a call from my son last night. He sounded amazing and has eased my concern about his struggles. He said they get 15 min to eat and food is good. He is exhausted, he said they only get about 5 hours sleep. But he sounded so PROUD!!!!!

I just got two letters today from my son, they were dated for this past Sunday, so that was quick delivery, I didn't expect them to get here so fast.  He said that some of the mail was held back due to some behavior issues the unit has been having,  He is truly frustrated by the guys that won't listen to the section leaders. I don't understand it either.  I feel bad for them all, because they all struggle with the extra work.  But at the same time, the exercise is good, it can only make them stronger all around.  Thankfully he still has a good sense of humor with things, glad to see that.

Yay, got another letter today. I love Thursday. My SR said that he loves the questionaire. Made him laugh and saved him alot of time. Also, my daughter sent him a bunch of labels for both his address and for his friends and family. He loved them, said they saved him so much time. He was able to send out six letters Sunday. 28 more days

So glad you got a letter britefuture.  Our SR sent his sister (who is 16) and his nana and papa a letter this time.  At least I got to read the one to his sister.  He had all four wisdom teeth out and has been sick prior to that.  I also sent the questionaire but he hasn't returned it yet.  When he called on Tuesday night, the one thing he requested me to send was more labels..LOL !  I guess I don't realize how much time they don't have.  I thought Sundays were much more relaxed...guess not.  Did you get a call Tuesday night as well?
