Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 913.

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

We received a letter ...... I was so nice to finally hear from him.  Said it's tough but he seemed positive. A few people got kicked out due to reasons that he didnt know!  So mentally, I believe that is freaking out everyone, he said that would be horrible to get kicked out! Other family members and friends have received letters from him....it is so nice to know just how much he cares about all of us. I can't wait to see him on 2/8!!!!!!

So great to hear you got a letter! Praying that the guys that are left have got their mindset right and will stick it out and follow the rules! Sooooo looking forward to Feb 8th :)

I chatted with my SR's girlfriend today. She got a call from him on Sunday - about 10 minutes in length. She said he is sick and was losing his voice but other than that doing well...aside from being completely exhausted! Poor guys! I know they will be looking forward to some sleep!!!!!!

My SR (son) is going to A school in San Antonio. We have received multiple letters usually fairly short because he is writing grandparents, girlfriend and us. We were disappointed on the three guest minimum but will all be there to see him after PIR.

Yes, the 3 for PIR is disappointing and makes it very difficult for some families! But it is great that afterwards the ones who can't go will be able to spend several hours with their SR's :)  Looking forward to it for sure!

10 whole minutes!  I hope we all have that to look forward to!

10 minutes would be precious to you, I am sure!!! Hope you get a call very soon!

I'm reading all your comments.......and I can't wait to get home to check the mail box!!!!!!!!!  Wow 75% of them are sick.......that has to be terrible to be sick THERE!

I can't even imagine how miserable they are - it is tough being there when you are well...let alone being sick and they don't have their mom/girlfriend/wife to take care of them!!!  Hope they all feel better soon :)

Got a letter from my SR today. He didn't mention anything in his letter about being sick - lol  I don't think he wants me to worry. He seemed a little down about missing his girlfriend so much but otherwise he is doing well. I know it is so tough for him to be away from her again. :(  He mentioned they have lost several guys - some got set back a few weeks...a few guys, the younger ones, seem to be having a harder time keeping quiet and following orders but he said when they are marching and practicing for PIR for the graduations they will be working that everyone is doing great. Has any of the other guys mentioned anything as far as how the div is doing this week? Hoping they are all getting it together! He is loving the weather when they are actually able to get outside. His bunkmate's last name starts with C and he is the RLPO . Message me if this may be your SR :)

Apparently, all the guys like Chief Ross' sense of humor! haha  I am glad about that!  Hoping we all hear from our SR's soon if you haven't already this week!  Come on 2/8!!!!  :)

Yay!...I am so glad you got a letter!..and thank you so much for posting some of the information from it. It is so nice getting some information when we are all so desperate for any word. However, today I did get super excited when I realized that my SO has been gone for 29 days and we only have 29 more to go! All down hill from here!

YES!  Half way there Krissyj!!!!  :D  We, now I guess we are on the down slope - woohoo!
