Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 913.

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I just joined the 900 div facebook group and they have so many pictures of the graduations! It is so exciting to look at what our SR's will be doing soon and to think that there might be the possiblity of at least seeing them in photo before 2/8. If you haven't already, I would highly suggest you join!

Hello everyone! I'm eager to meet some ladies in my sailors ship & division! Hope everyone is doing well! We can do this! :) :)

I'm so happy for all you ladies that got your phone call!  I was so upset I missed mine!!!

kathyb - I haven't gotten a call yet - but I did tell my son that as much as I would love to hear his voice, I am ok with him calling his girlfriend - I know he misses her terribly and this separation is so hard for them. I am hoping that I am the one he calls when he gets done with Battlestations though! LOL

erikkap - welcome to the group :) How are you holding up?

I really hope my SN's mom isn't upset that he has been calling me so much :P  But I don't doubt he is giving his sister/mother calls as well.  I cannot imagine how hard it is for the moms.... it's like they go from dependent teenage boys to fully grown men over night :-/

I guess we are all lucky my SN is in his late 20s, so he's been a fully grown man for awhile now.  Well... that might be giving him too much credit ;-)

I mean We in the royal sense... me & his mom.  Not sure it makes the rest of you lucky but hey, I am happy to share if it does!

Haha - I gotcha ;)  My son has been out of the house for a few years so I think it does make it a little easier for the moms when that is the case! With my SR - he has been with his girlfriend for several years and time apart is very hard! Praying for all the couples going through this separation - let this next 3 1/2 weeks go by SUPER FAST!!

Only 3 1/2 weeks!

I know how that is, my SR is pushing 30 and sometimes I swear my 15yr old niece is more self-sufficient! One of the first things I said to him after he officially signed up was that after RTC he wouldn't be able to say he didn't know how to fold clothes anymore. Finally, I will get some help with the laundry.

Also -- Here is the FB group for our PIR!  It's private so you need to request access.  Basically a lot of what we see here but posted there.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/476509125724417/

I am on there now :) Thanks for posting the link!
