DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 913.

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Yes, I think their own thing day of. I know that is what we are doing, at least.

No news is good news, no news is good news, no news is good news.....I am trying to believe it.  3 short short letters from my SR since 12/12 and one missed phone call........no news is good news...

Yes, no news is good news! They are extremely busy right now - I think they are in Hell Week so lots going on...16 days to PIR! YAY!  We will be getting those "I'm a Sailor" calls before you know it! Praying you get a letter this week though!!!

I know how you feel.  No news is good news.  I'm not the praying type but even I'm praying I have a letter in my mailbox today.

Remember the delay in mail because Monday was a National Holiday...praying you get one today but don't get too bummed if it doesn't come yet (yell at the National Holiday List!)  ;)  I normally get my letter today but don't expect it until tomorrow (if I get one).

It's been over a week... I have to assume letter #5 is lost in the winds, never to be seen again.  I'll just hope something shows up on Friday!

I missed my sons call too!Felt horrible! Was at work, put my phone down fro 20 mins. and that was it. Now i carry it all the time. My son is a Section Leader #1 and Commands the Honor Guard for graduations. Any other parent have a Section Leader? He says there are six. Anyone attending the meet and greet at the Ramada?

My SN is a section leader!!  I will definitely be at Sarge's, possibly followed by Flanagan's.

My SR is a Section Leader too...going to Sarge's - I need all the info I can get! LOL Any plans after the Ramada meet and greet?  I am not sure what I have going on after Sarge's (I am bringing my mom so depends on how she feels - maybe get her back to the Marriott and settled then I can go back out to meet with some of you :) I will have my SR's girlfriend with me and I am sure we will both be too excited to rest! LOL

I was thinking about about staying out as late as possible Thursday night, as well, but I may try to hit the hay around 10.... I plan on being with him at the airport plus a 6 am wake up call Friday morning... I'll need just a touch of beauty sleep.

Ladies -- I will be flying into Midway at 2 pm on the 7th and will be renting a car to drive up North.  Just me, myself, and I.  I would be happy to transport anyone flying in around that time (from 1 - 3:30) in exchange for a few bucks (or just out of the kindness of my heart, it will depend on if my i-panic-in-planes tranquilizer is still clouding my judgment).  It would be nice to spend as much time around other people as possible so I don't go insane from the excitement.

Hope you can find a buddy to share the drive! I rented a car as well - I have me, my mom and my SR's girlfriend. I arrive at 10am - 14 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  hehe
