Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 913.
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

You have no idea. I'm still heart broken I didn't get one last week (mail man's fault, obviously) and just hoping for any kind of update tomorrow. I even ran extra hard in my work out last night to try and shake off this.... stress/anxiety? It's not working. The only cure is more letters.
True! Praying you have a nice long one on it's way - or more than one!!!! Maybe even a phone call! Just a little longer! Imagine - in just a couple weeks he will have his cell phone back!!!!!!!!! :D
Your prayers seem to have worked ;-)
My SR's girlfriend will be coming with me too. Just her and I. We are staying at the Ramada, so we figured we would check that one out and maybe head over to Sarge's? We am using Sarge for our ride to and from the airport and a ride to PIR. Maybe we will meet all of you at one or the other? My son said all or the Section Leaders are great! Having a good time! :-)
FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY!! The letter post-marked January 14 FINALLY arrived today! He is doing well, no news on schedules (hopefully I'll get a letter that wasn't written over 2 weeks ago tomorrow or Friday), and he included a list of silly things the SRs wrote down about their RTC experience so far. I didn't recognize the names (past his bunkmate) but I told him all the mom's & wives I've been chatting with so maybe his last letter will have something else to share.
The best part of it all -- He wrote a little note addressed to my cat that died two weeks ago. He is something else. <3
Awwwww - That is soooooo sweet <3 I am so happy you finally got that letter! I am so happy for you!
I got a letter!!!...it is dated 1/20/13 and said that the division blew its past two inspections out of the water!! They got a 4.95 in personnel inspection and a 4.99 on their weapons inspections. My SR also apologized for the short letter because they have a BIG test and inspection soon. It was grand to hear from him no matter how short it was!
Yay!!!! Go 913!!!!! I really hope I get one tomorrow or Saturday from the 20th as well! It's all getting so real.
I am hoping I have a letter in the mail today too but I am ok with getting the news from you ladies :) Thanks for sharing!!!!
