OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for division 806.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Tiffany could you please inbox the date for BattleStations to me also?  Thankyou.

I sent a few moms a friend request. I am not able to send you a message until you accept. :)

We are getting closer.

Simply sung, no theatrics, beautiful...just tearily beautiful!  I can not help but to tear up everytime I hear a patriotic song, but then to add young men and woman standing straight and tall saluting and the tears fall.

WOW, is there anything more to say? What an amazing and moving performance.  Thank you for posting this, Cor.  I hadn't seen it and it was a beauty.   I was right there with you, the flood gates opened.

:( Nothing in the mailbox today

Got a phone call last night!!!!  He sounded great great - happy and excited.  All Is going well tests and inspections.  I was so surprised and it was a short call that I didn't get to ask him all the questions I had for him.  Said he was probably going to be able to call again on Saturday - I was so wound up I couldn't get to sleep.  I'll be in a frenzy by graduation day!

Ice and sleet. Home from school early and in for the night!  No letter in the mail today. Hoping for a phone call tonight to give him his security clearance information.  Can't believe it is only 2 weeks away!!!!

sleet and freezing rain a bit SE from you.  Home from work early also.  We had the final sec clearance call last night!  So you should get one soon if you didn't already.
