Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 107 and 108.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Next week?  Not next next week?  I was just getting the calm before the storm feeling...

yes, I believe so...week 5 according to the file....must be, because Battlestations is week 6.  OMy!  we are so close!

I just finally booked my room at Springhill Suites...who's with me there?

I know I'm bad with math...and sometimes left and right, but I am completely lost on the training days. I thought Battlestations are their final week before PIR?  But O MY is right!  So close yet so far away

I could be wrong...but I believe it's actually the whole week BEFORE the weekend before PIR, finishing up on or around March 2nd with the final Div going through Battlestations( I think the 900 div go last)? ....so I'm thinking 105/106 go on Mon, then us on Tues...etc through the TG. Then they have lots of in-house liberty week 7 until PIR that weekend.  So, yep...only 2 REAL training weeks left!

Oh that changes things a tad then doesn't it?  Without any PIRs today and next Friday will our SRs be subject to extra scrutiny and 'guest' RDCs during training?  And then they have their final PFA to complete to be eligible for PIR.  K maybe not so much calm now.  ;)

just tried to edit that last reply after reading more about week 6...so long story short...they will be taking final tests week 6 with BS taking place after 6-4 day...so for us that is Feb 28.  So it appears that BS for us will be on Fri or Sat. March 2nd.   I'm so thankful that our Division will be only the 2nd ones to go through for our TG instead of waiting on the "I'm a Sailor" call later in week 7.  Ugh, I'd go crazy if we were the 900 Divisions!!

oh...didn't think about that "extra scrutiny"!!

I just know that when things are 'slow' at work the extras always find a way to include themselves into whatever is going on no matter how far removed they are from a situation.  Or maybe they will go on spring break!

While I am an optimist at heart I do have a slight tendency to overthink things

No news is good news...keep it going 107

that's what I've been telling myself!  Did you all get letters last week?  I thought it was strange that none of my family got letters....my mom was worried that they got in trouble for something and weren't allowed to send mail...highly doubtful, it's more likely that just my son didn't "feel" like writing! ;)    although I will definitely let him now my disappointment if I don't get one THIS week either!!!

Ladies, remember that we cannot post BattleStations dates on this site...you can "guess" at them, but please don't report a specific one.  RTC won't allow on here or FB.  You can private message them on here though.

Also, there are never BattleStations on Fri or Sat nights....only S-Th nights, and they don't always use Sunday.

My "guess" is that these divisions will be going through BattleStations during PIR week.  105/106 go through the week before.

Thanks diannep! I was trying to guess the date out loud as I worked out the training days in my head.... I'll remember the rules I promise!

Spomss--- thanks for that reminder as well... Maybe that was the case for us as well!!
