While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hello, I'm Alejandra. My bf left for bc a week ago as well and he didn't call either. His phone died and didn't call from after he got to GL. I think it may have to do with the fact that he didn't buy phone cards beforehand. Once they get to bc, they're allowed one phone call and they must use a pay phone, hence the need for a prepaid phone card.

Hi Alejandra! Thank you for your reply. When was his ship date? They might be in the same division. I already got his address from his recruiter. How are you doing? I'm having a hard time...I wish it's april already.

His ship date was Valentines :( I recieved his address today and he is in ship 13 DIV 148. So far, there have been no bad days. I'm used to not seeing him, because we were in a long distance relationship prior to him going to bc but not being able to text/call him is very difficult. I'm counting the days until his PIR, and trying to plan the cutest outfit lol :p

How did you get his address? They must be together coz that's the same address for my boyfriend and he also left on Valentines day. We have the same situation. Have you sent him mail?

His mother sent me his address. If your bf is in Ship 13 DIV 148, then yes they are together :) I haven't sent him any mail yet. I have written several letters though and I plan on sending them Monday. I thought I could send them all in one envelope but I read a post here warning not to send anything that requires anything more than a standard postage, and I've written like ten pages worth of letters lol so that's out of the question.

no way? i didn't know that! i sent him my letters already.. worth 10 days! i placed 3 stamps! i hope he doesnt get in trouble! Did his mom receive the form already? or did she just ask his recruiter?
