While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 139 and 140.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

13 days!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a letter AND my survey back on Wed. so I thought I'd share some Div 139 "details" with you all! My SR said that they have gotten 4 flags: academics, PFA, zone inspecition and drill inspection. He said that their div. flag will have a "starfish" on it. He also mentioned some good friends w/the initials: MH (I know who you belong to!), AP, BL and AW. Private message me if your SR could be one of those :)

Yay!!!!! I am so happy they are so upbeat my husband mentioned that after battle stations they get to go to "recurit heaven" and play video games, pool, eat Taco Bell,and maybe some Internet! Jam getting soooooooo antsy!!!!

We also just recieved a letter. My son said that the division has improved greatly and has a chance at hall of fame,! He also .saidhe got a ribbon for perfect test scores and that he just finished with hell week and weapons training.Do they start battlestations 21 this coming week then or am I off a week?

My SR is in the same division and the last phone call was at the beginning of March. He did say it would be a long time before he would be calling again and calls would be on a merited basis. I can't wait to hear his voice again...it's been too long and PIR can't get here soon enough.

No call recently but did receive a letter. He didn't think he'd be able to call again until after BS. Can't wait to see him on the 5th. He did sound much more upbeat in his letter and looking forward to A School.
