OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 141 and 142.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

@SoCal Ohana (S14/D141) Just wanted to tell you that my daughter told me that her group S14/D141 has won flags for athletics and Academics! I meant to mention that in the other post. She said they are doing really well and hoping to make "Hall of Fame" I hope they pull it off!

That would be amazing!! My daughter also had gotten 5.0 inspections- they must be doing something right! :)

Printed my vehicle gate pass! :) Its becoming more and more real!

I printed my gate pass too SoCal Ohana, a week from today I'll be in Chicago!!

I've got my reservations, got my outfit, got my parking pass...I'm ready to fly!!!  LOL  ONE WEEK!

I have to get going! We leave on Monday to drive :) Road trip!

Has anyone in this group heard from their SR yet? Esp in Div 141
Thanks everyone...glad to know I'm not alone! Lol...one week from today and I'll be off! Yeah!

SRmom....you are definitly not alone.  I haven't had a phone call since March 5th.  However, I have been receiving letters on Thursday so here is to hoping she had time to write me this week.   Not much longer until we see our SR, I can't wait!!

Me too- except the last call I got was in Feb! Almost there!! :)

I haven't received a real call since March 5th either. We did get a call last week to make sure we bring her daughter's ss card or birth certificate and that was it. She wrote and said that she heard Raeleigh in the back and when she got off the phone she cried and cried because she couldn't talk to her. I can't wait for them to reunite at graduation.

5 days / 13 hours/ 54 minutes til GRADUATION!!!!

Anyone hear about the Captains Cup yet?
