OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

STILL LOOKING FOR TEXAS

My son is on the Blue Crew, too.  He called me Monday evening and I got "THE call" yesterday morning. Nerve wracking!

I really need to change my profile info! My name is Jen. I first logged on to this site when my son, Taylor, was in boot camp. Then I never came back on. I know exactly what you mean by being new at this. Where did you go to find the info about the mail drops? Everything I read said we were supposed to have it to them back in march, or that it was too late because they r already out to sea, etc. I hope I can still send him a "halfway box".
