Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 185 and 186

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Me too!!! My son's name is Jacob and his bunkmate is Jacob also but doesn't know any others since they go by last names.. I got 2 letters today, so awesome, he sounded really good. Are you going to Sarges Meet and Greet, I just RSVP'd and am hoping to see all of you in this group there.. Hope to hear from you and meet you in person..

Can you tell me where it is located and where I RSVP.  I am staying at COURTYARDS OF MARRIOTT.

Those who have been assigned to Ship 11 have been moved to Ship 9 for several of the TGs the past few weeks. It is probably due to maintenance, remodel, and renovations. They will probably not be moved back.

Hey everyone, I got 2 letters from my son.. he is Ship 9, and Div 186..his 1st letter was hard to read, he was so tired, the other letter was after he had gotten some sleep..he pretty much said it was hard but rewarding...learned from watching others get in trouble what Not to do and say..not sure what he means by a 45 degree angle haunting him like a ghost from geometrical past?? Anyone know what that means? LOL..just glad to get some news..Anyone in this group from 186 that has a loved one going to A school in Pensacola?

Proudmama-My son is in this division and will go to Pensacola for 3 weeks as an Airmen PACT undesignated rate.

I pray they are all getting along and becoming a Team.

I remeber you saying that now..I'm sure they are..they better be, lol

Proud Mama- our son is going to Pensacola for A school also -14 weeks for IT training.

Just got off the phone with my SR Ship 9 Div 186. They are going into their 3rd week of training. Got fitted for more uniforms. Passed his written test. Eating better and more energy throughout the day. Has to shave twice a day.Really enjoying his time in RTC, fellow recruits and looking forward to more hands-on training. We loved hearing from him and knowing he is doing good.
