Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 213 and 214
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hello Ladies,
Has anyone thought of a way to recognize each other at the meet and greet? I've been looking at a few other message boards and different divisions are doing different things like ribbons, etc. I would love to know how I could recognize all the wonderful moms/wives/family members of other recruits from our group.
My son will also be staying in GL to attend A school, so nice to "meet" all of you!
Hi Jennifer welcome to our friendly group of Moms :-) I'm in Paradise, Ca. My son is also Ship 03/DIV 214. According to his letters they're having a great time... :-p well maybe at least surviving is more like it!
My name is Gladys, from Phoenix Az, my son, Joshua is 19 and Ship 03/Div 214. After graduation he will be in Pensacola training for Airframe Mechanic. Perhaps they are friends, Jennifer. :)
Has anyone booked their hotel yet? If so, where? I'm looking for a suite that also offers shuttle service...
Finally got my hotel room booked!!! We'll be at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Waukegan.......rates were really reasonable for 2 Queens and they offer breakfast and a shuttle to the base. Everywhere I checked was getting full (at least that's what they told me!) so don't delay ~~~ I never book this early, but was afraid not to :)
Can't wait to meet all y'all!
Anyone know where we can find reasonable flight tickets and hotel we are from New Mexico!
I found this great site that will send you codes for free phone calls :) Hope you find this helpful, I just sent Kyle some today!
You can get free calling cards (actually a phone number and PIN) at http://callsforrecruits.org/. Recruit Man - Ronny provides those through that website if you email him at CallsforRecruits@gmail.com and ask for them. He will email you 6 to 8 numbers good for 20 minutes of calling time each, but he will send more if you need them. Each PIN that is provided is a onetime use number.

My son is in 213 and he will be going to San Antonio for corpman training. We're from Indianapolis and are sooo looking forward to June and meeting everyone.
Haven't received a letter yet but have sent many! ;o) I noticed on the form letter my SR did not include a street address for
Ship 03-did anyone else get one?
Hi MJ's mom!
My son, Kyle is in DIV 214 Ship 03 and his address is 3600 Ohio Street

Hi Bonnie!
Thanks for the reply. My name is Laura. I'm glad to see the address is the same as the one the recruiter posted on their website. Can't wait to see our boys!!
Hi MJ's Mom, My son will be going to San Antonio for Hospital Cprpsman training too. SOooo hard witing for more contact since the last call 5/1... and a very down letter, but was written middle of Hell Week, so praying he is doing better now...and keeping the belief that no news is good news... 19 days!!
I received 2 letters today from my SR. He just wants letters, letters and more letters. He says it's what he's imagine prison is like. He can't wait to graduate. He misses home and is also having a little fun. He said he'll do his best to make it out of there alive and well then he added the LOL at the end.
