Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 930

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good morning!

Good Morning,

We've been told that our SR is part of this division.  I say told because other than the kid in the box, we have not yet received our PIR letter or one from him.  I do know 2 other moms who have SRs here so I will ping them and let them know that this mini-group exists.

Have a great day!

Good morning!  Same here Baciandrio - I have been told that my daughter is part of this ship and division, but 15 days in and still no form letter or word (except the box which came in 3 days).  I am happy to see this mini group.

LOL, I'm trying a new tactic today....going to leave my desk (aka home office) and go see a client.  Maybe that will soothe the postman enough so he'll drop a letter in our mailbox.  I've tried patience, praying and friendly stalking...I might as well give this a go!

Good morning has anyone heard from their SR's? Missing my son soooo much.

Good morning sweetnavymom - I have not heard a peep from my SR - not even a form letter for me yet.  At this point I am thinking that something happened and I may not even get a form letter.  So in blind faith I went ahead and mailed my SR and will mail again today.  I will ask her for the names on her form letter and password for the gate pass and I think that is all the information that I really needed off of it.  I read off of the FB 900's division site (a dad posted for division 929) that he has had one 10 minute call from his SR and was told that they are kept extremely busy and there is no time to write...he had not gotten one letter.

My son is in this group. No letter since the form letter received past weekend. No call, yet.

No sweetnavy, we're all in the same boat.  Just the old box of dirty clothes!  No PIR letter, no letter no phone call and believe me we're both wearing our cell phones next to our hearts.  Saying all that, I'm going to brace myself and check for mail.  Fingers and toes are crossed.

I am guessing from all the posts here that this division may have been a little slow to fill and perhaps didn't have the opportunity to get their letters out right away. Hang in there I suspect you all will be hearing very soon. The ones in this division are kept very busy, they not only have the "regular" BC stuff to do, but they also have training for their performing and other tasks that they do at PIR. They will not only perform and work their own PIR, but the two PIRs before theirs.

Take a look at this link for a little more insight on the 900 divisions.

Aww thanks for the encouragement....still nothing today.  I'm going to apply for my passport (coming to PIR from Toronto) on Tuesday and I would like to have the PIR form letter to get us bumped up in the issue line.  If you have firm plans to travel you get your documents done first.  (Okay that's selfish....what's really selfish is that we ----as I'm sure all the others are----sitting on pins and needles.  I don't need an epic novel written...just 3 lines and I'll be good) LOL

No letter here either.  16 days in and would just like a form letter.  I am booking at Navy Lodge tomorrow.

Is that all it's been?  It has to be more?  (counting on fingers and toes now)  Well thereabouts!  Mine's been there since the 8th.  Tomorrow makes 18 days.  Going to tell the postman that he can keep my tax refund if he brings me a letter LOL
