Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 812 and 813

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Be careful if you take the train. It can get full quickly and you may have to wait for the next one. Your sailor cannot be a minute late, it could result in all of them losing liberty. Be very aware of the time.

PIR is a great weekend.  I have a couple of recommendations.  If you can make your travel plans back home on Monday, you will have all day Sunday.  I had scheduled my flight back at 2:00pm Sunday and I was really disappointed that I had to leave so early when he was off all day.  I picked him up Sunday morning and we had breakfast together but I had to take him back to the base because I had to leave to get to the airport.  So if you can wait until Monday or late Sunday night to leave do it!

Another thing to take them that was recommended and my son really liked is Superfeet insoles (green) for their boots.

we booked our flight for Monday morning when we found out he has all weekend and I purchased him 2 pair of the green superfeet insoles one for his boots and the other for his running shoes. We are very proud of him and can't wait to see him.

You're welcome! Enjoy your time!!

Super Cute Bunny Waving

superfeet are great mine loved his and still wears them in his....
Which division is your recruit? I didn't get a call:(

My son is in 812. No phone call yet today:( We did get a letter on Thursday. He said that they had a few inspections this week. He is looking forward to battlestations and becoming a "sailor". I'm hopeful for a call tomorrow.

Talked to my son as well and that's what he said is that is was a reward for doing well on test. He is counting down the days to PIR. We are almost there ladies!!!

Received a call from my son in 812 a little while ago. It was funny because I was getting my nails done so I had to put him on speaker phone. Everyone at the salon got real quiet so we could talk. He sounded good and said that they all did well on everything so far. They were in "Recruit Heaven" for a reward as well as the phone calls. I told him that we booked our hotel and that the plane tickets were next. He was happy to here the progress on our plans. He said 2 weeks and 6 days to battlestations! Can't wait to see my boy:)

My son called today also, was eating a Twix Bar and was in sugar heaven!

My husband and I were in a movie and missed the ending. Worth it though. Division 812 also. Said their division was doing great.
