Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 932

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Sailors will not get leave after BC, but may get some leave after A School. Leave after A School totally depends on if they are heading out to the fleet after graduation, have their orders for C School and a long time delay before starting, or at the discretion of command.

RAP duty or Recruit Assistance Program, is something that sailors who are on "regular leave" between school (whether A School, C School or Apprenticeship Training) and their first permanent duty station students can take advantage of. If they are granted leave and come home they can work at the local recruiting station for up to five days. The days worked at the recruiters are non-chargable leave time and will be credited back.

Leave is considered "regular leave" when it is not taken at a base stand down time. So, if your sailor is eligible for RAP he/she cannot use it during Holiday Stand Down.

I hope that makes sense...

thank you ;so much for posting this...good information!

Happy Mother's Day Div 932 mothers. Let's keep our SR's in prayer that they excel in all task put before them. Encourage them to do their best. As they are instructed as a team, they are also watched as individuals.

I was so surprised that my SR called on Mothers Day!!  Was a great finish to a great day...he sounded so good!!  He received my letter and I told him letters from Dad and his sister are in the mail!!  One happy Mom on this Mothers Day!!

I ordered e Reuben James coin- glad to hear they are nice! Mine should be here soon.

I could not believe how fast they came in the mail.  Ordered ribbons too.  I think I am getting "order happy" so I have to calm down a bit...haha...Proud MOM!!

I'm having to pace myself ordering stuff!!  I ordered window decals for our cars earlier this week.  Even got my younger son one that says Navy Brother for his car.  I like the Ruben James coin, and I'll probably get that.  I also found one on www.nwtmint.com site that I love about the armor of God.  My SR will really like that one.  And then, the ribbons!!!  Someone told me about www.uniquememorymakers.com and she's got really neat ribbons.

Hope you guys are having a great day....happy Friday...one less to go until PIR!!

Got a quick 5 minute phone call from my son tonight...He said today's call is mandatory, so heads up your SR might be calling!!

Just got my call!!!! He says no more calls for at least a couple weeks. He sounds fantastic! Such an unexpected surprise today!!!
My coin also came! WOW! I am reall impressed, they are really nice! Kinda thinking I should have gotten the Core Values one.
