Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 221 and 222

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

He said lots of studing!!! He is not big on writing... so I send my letters and Cards some really funny... some encouragment ones....the funny one because I know he likes to laugh... So I fugure if I make him laugh he will get throu any bad/ruff day he has had...

RayaProudNavyMom, I try to send him a letter every other day, he loves when I send him pictures of our son. It makes him get through boot camp a lot more easy with all the letters and pictures

Hi Moms-my daughter just joined Div 221 this week, she was in RCU for five weeks, and was supposed to PIR on 5/17.  I'm so happy she's back in a division! I've been reading all your posts, and starting the countdown again! Hooyah!

Congrats.... Welcome to our group..My son is Div 222...Countdown until 6/14/13!!!!

That's awesome that she's back in a division.  My son is in 222....anyway, just wanted to say hi and welcome.

Has anyone heard from 222 lately?

I received a letter yesterday from my SR.. He said he has passed all of his test.. thought he should have scored higher on one of his test but still passed...he sounds really happy.. He said his RDC'S are cool as HECK!!! He said he may want to be an RDC one day... Who would have thought!!!!! He also said he took his pictures, but not sure how they turned out..I am sure they are VERY NICE.... and he will look HANDSOME!!!! As will all of our SR's will look... He also mentioned that the SR's leaving for A School in Pensacola will most likely leave on Saturday... but he said that could change he has to wait for his orders.... He misses us a lot.. 12 days and counting... HOOYAH!!!!!

that is great news Raya...it sounds as though this has been a positive experience for your son.  Hopefully  the orders will change to Sunday!!!

So today I had to pick up my sister in law from the air port she was flying in from Chicago O Hara.  When she got off a group of recent sailor graduates followed her. They all were wearing there dress whites. This made me miss my husband like crazy, but I had to remind my self its only 13 more days till I get to see him all dressed up in his dress whites and I was able to show my son what his daddy will be  dressed in when we see him.  I cant wait!!

I bet it did make you miss your husband kmurphy.  Awe, I bet your son was in awe over seeing the sailors.  How sweet.  Yes, not much longer!!!

Yesterday I got a phone call from my husband, he is doing great and just got done with battle stations. He passed all of his test and is doing really good. I can't wait only 7 more days till we get to see him.  YAY
