DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hi I'm a Jersey mom too, my son joined just before yours, he is a rescue swimmer now and just finished sonar classes in Pensicola. It looks like he will be going to San Diego. It's been great in that we, my son and I didin't know how much we love each other. I can't imagine what happened to us. We are close always have been, great communication, no issues ever in 20 years but we didn't how deep the love went. We discovered that through the letters and phone call at BC. I don't use the corny nicknames or tease him like when he was home because I respect him so much more and see him under a new light now. This has been a wonderful jurney.

well I not hiding im rite here with you! Lol NEW JERSEY!

Hi Sandra - this thread is really old - come on over to the boot camp group and post your questions there.  That group is very active.

The official letter usually arrives in about 9-14 business days so you are in the window for that.  Should be any day now!
