I have seen discussion about ribbons and coins. Can someone give me a site to purchase them  or are they available at graduation on base?

PIR ribbons can be purchased from Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons through her site at http://www.uniquememorymakers.com/.

There is information on purchasing Challenge coins within Gift Ideas for PIR in Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) while you are there and to check out the other Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) as well. You may also want to join PIR 07/26/2013 TG 37 - 09 Divisions (271-276, 815, 816 and 937) to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.

You do not have to and my Sailor doesn't want me to purchase any cins for him. There is info on Challenge Coins in What does ??? mean?  (A Guide to Navy Abbreviations and Terminology) and in Gift Ideas for PIR wihin Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) while you are there.

Yes, 09/20/2013 is the most likely PIR date, but since she arrived on a Monday, it could also be the week before if she was one of the last to fill her division and is in a Push Division from the previous week's TG. See Arrival and What Happens at the RTC for more on that.

You are very welcome.

Actually, you can buy the Challenge coin for Boot Camp at PIR. Don't recall the price, but pretty sure it was cheaper. You can also buy seat cushions and mugs there.

The Challenge coins for the Ship the recruit is on are only available on eBay through pirgifts (clickable link). Craig designed them. The RTC Challenge coin is available at the RTC at a MWR booth in the Drill Hall, in the RTC Recreation Center in Bldg 1326, at the NEX and online. See Gift Ideas for PIR in Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones).

I need advice quickly! I don't know where to stay! Is there a Marriott close by? I don't know the area and unsure of where to stay. Help!

It's getting close and many places will be full. Check http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/chiwk-courtyard-chicago-wauke.... If that doesn't help, check Saving Money PIR Weekend and there are links there that may help.

Should we purchase ribbons and coins for our SR for PIR 04 2015? His ship 03 DIV 297 I've been so appreciated of all the help to schedule my trip out there
