Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 385 and 386

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son is in Div 385, love and miss him greatly.

My son is also in DIV 385.  What is your son training for (A School)?

ABE, he will be going to Florida.

He will stay at Great Lakes for Machinest Mate - also trying to be a SEAL.

My son is also in DIV 385. He will be going to Florida for A School. We are already making plans for our trip for graduation.

We just started making plans.  Definitly want to attend Sarge's meeting.  We will be flying in from Maryland.

Luckily we are able to drive in-we are from Ohio. We are taking a mini-van and bringing both sets of grandparents. We have two who will be watching the live stream from the hotel and then four of us will be going in. We are staying at the Lodge on base. I am so excited for him and can't wait to see him. I was able to drop a letter in the mail today for him. Even though his time to reply is limited there is something comforting in knowing he knows we are thinking of him and our proud of him.

We are from Indiana originally and several of our family will be driving in to see our son after PIR.  We have checked the mail everyday waiting for a letter, we try and send him letters often.

Where at in Indiana? That is were my husband and I are from. The grandparents still leave in the houses we each grew up in. My family is from Cambridge City and his family is from Connersville Indiana.

If I remember from an earlier post you said your son was going to Florida-that is where our son is head at too. From what I have been reading and learning doesn't sound like we will have a lot of liberty with our children. However, any time we will take-can't wait to see him.

What a smaill world.  We are from Hagerstown IN, our son was born in Richmond IN.  We lived in Connersville for awhile.

The short liberty is a pain.  We plan to stay over until Sunday so we can be with him at the airport on Saturday.  Everything on line said there is a USO at the airport we can use until he flies out.

If your husband went to school in Connersville he may have been in school with me.  I was there from 4th through 8th grade.

Wow it is a small world. My husband's dad and step mom live in Connersville and his mom and stepdad lived in Milton Indiana so he actually went to school with me in Cambridge City.  Growing up I had family from Hagerstown as well.

We are also planning on staying over until Sunday as well-we had thought the same thing go to the Airport and utilize the USO. I am gladly for what time we are going to get with him.
