Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 379 and 380

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I haven't received any letter or call from my daughter yet.  I talked to her recruit today and he told me that I should be receiving letter from her soon.  I hope so.  I am missing her really bad.  I don't know how long I can take this.

my daughter is on ship 04 div 380 we got a phone call from her saturday night but know letters and today is tuesday the 27th

My daughter is in the same ship and division.  We got a phone call Saturday morning and we just received a letter from her today.  You should be getting a letter anytime now.

I'm glad you were able to talk to your daughter.  I praying my son is doing  well.

I am walking on clouds right now... I got a call from my son and he sounded really good! We got to talk for about 15 minutes (he said he got 30 min. but wanted to call his dad too who was out on the golf course, haha) Dad got to talk to him too! yeah!  Said the RDC was pretty tough but he was doing good and the food was great (not getting much sleep though)!  He said that he had blisters but was using mole skin and dr. gave them medicine to put on them.  His voice sounded good and he sounded good!  I told him we think about him everyday and pray for him everyday and to keep his head down and nose to the grind stone and just keep pushing through and it would all be over before he knew it and how proud he will be at PIR when he is standing there in his uniform as a Sailor!  OMG!  I can't wait! Just hearing his voice was such a comfort to me but honestly makes you miss them even more.  If anyone else hears from their SR please share!  Thanks!  God is Good All the Time and All the Time God is Good!

what ship/div is your son

My Daughter called this morning. I would like to suggest if we hear from our recruits to talk about teamwork and how important it is.  She was very tired and barely knew what day it was.  I don't think we will see mail from them  at best late next week or after. Thanking god for the rain here this morning or my husband would not have been home.  She said they are pretty tough on their division.  Hope you all hear from yours soon.

Good advice! What job is your daughter in the Navy for?  Just asking because my niece is going EOD and she said there were 2 other girls doing it with her.  But she did say all the girls were awesome!

My daughter is a rescue swimmer.  I am happy to hear she said that My daughter was to tired to say much. she did say she loved PT and ate good. She loves working out though so that is a plus. These girsl and guys are the first intregrated team we were todl by her recruiter.

Kim_72 my daughter is feeling the same and said pretty much the same...she said its Becuz they are integrated with Ops so they are being treated a lil tougher...hope our girls pull together mine did say there are about 7 females in the division and about three and herself are trying to pull together...
Kayla's mom. Thank god some are pulling together. What is her job. I kept reminding mine encourage others to be a team. She said I'm trying mom. She said her feet hurt but she wasn't going to say anything.
No idea we didn't even get to that...lol...she was to busy blundering and me trying to calm her down...my daughter said her eye hurt but wasn't going to say anything til it fell out...my thing...lol...the must instill fear of medical??
